SEO Copywriting - 4 Keys to Getting Your Articles Read

2 weeks after creating a new niche and a new business online, I generated several articles.  In total, I created 40 articles within the first week, and I was surprised to find that when I returned to the article directory statistic sheet that my articles were being clicked at and read.

It is very difficult to sustain this level of readership but is not impossible.  It is just a question of employing some simple tactics that will ensure that your articles are read on a continuous basis.

Here are some simple tactics that you can employ:

1 - When you are creating your titles, include keywords or keyword phrases.  The more popular the keyword and the keyword phrases, the more popular your article will become.

It will then be included in search engine results when those particular keywords are searched for.  Your article will stand out more and gain more of a chance of being listed more regularly.

2 - Create attention-grabbing titles.  If your reader’s attention is made with an enticing title, they are more likely to read the complete article to the end, and what we require is that readers read our articles to the end and click into our bio.  Creating attention-grabbing titles is the first protocol that you must employ.

3 - Use a friendly tone.  It is important when you are writing your articles that the tone and the language are very friendly and chatty.  Your readers will be more relaxed and find it easier to understand the points you are trying to get over.  Imagine that you are drinking a glass of wine with your best friend, sitting back, relaxed, just having a general chat.  This is the right tone for you to draft your articles.

4 - Include bullets and numbers in your articles.  Numbered items make reading articles easier and more systematic.  Each separate point should be included in a separate numbered item.  Also use indentation to separate the various points.  Your article will look organized and systematic.

5 - Use short and sharp sentences in your articles.  Long sentences are very difficult for the readers to understand.  They have very short attention spans, and they do not want to decipher what you are trying to say in your article.  Make your articles easy to read.  Also use loads of white spaces between each paragraph.

6 - Keep the attention of your reader by including some benefit or feature within the article.  How can your reader benefit by reading the complete article?  Teach them something.  Tell them something or give away a secret.  If your reader benefits from reading your article, they will want to continue reading more and more of your articles.

These are the ways to getting your article read.  And at the end of the day, the more readers that click on to your article to read, the more traffic you will generate and the more visitors you will get to your website.
