Habits. Our lives are made up a habitual actions and vices that often lead us into more damaging actions. One of the most troublesome vices is smoking. Smoking is clearly bad on the body for overall health and has been linked to cancers in many studies. No so long ago, the tobacco companies disregarded these studies, finding tobacco use no more harmful than any other daily activity. But, today, these same companies are actively trying to promote a healthier lifestyle by advertising the effects of smoking on the lungs, skin and even unborn children. When smoking seems to be overtaking your life, hypnotherapy to stop smoking can be a choice many never think of choosing.
Hypnotherapy is the art of moving from the conscience mind into the subconscious in order to makes changes or suggest new actions that may improve health. With more than 45 studies being published in the Journal of Applied Psychology regarding hypnosis and smoking cessation, the effectiveness of hypnotherapy on smoking has been found to be three times more effective than nicotine replacement therapy.
