You cannot wait to check into your room. Someone in town recommended the place, so you figured it was worth checking out by checking in. The first thing you notice is that the clerk at the front desk has a striking resemblance to Mr. Bean. That seems to be no problem until it is obvious that the tavern has lost the key to your room--room number 13. After several minutes, they are able to borrow a set of spare keys from the chambermaid. When you eventually step into your room, it is like stepping into a closet that has bee unopened for years. You turn on the ceiling fan switch, but the fan just creaks a little, and then refuses to budge. As you walk through the room, you hear rodents running behind the walls. You notice that termites have started to nibble away at all of the room's woodwork. You ask the bellhop if the room includes a telephone and TV. He replies that the phone is broken and the TV only shows one channel. At that moment, you realize that you should have checked into a holiday home in Cornwall.
