Early Childhood Development Programs in Georgetown, Texas

First Baptist Church “Junglewalk” is a Christian preschool offering enriching experiences that will help children to grow spiritually, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. Cooperative play provides opportunities for the students to develop socially acceptable behavior and relationships. Programs are available during the regular school year, as well as Summer Programs in June and July.

The Learning Tree is the preschool at the First United Methodist Church of Georgetown. The purpose of the Learning Tree is to provide children, 5 months to 4 years, with an atmosphere of Christian love conducive to creative play and exploration. Through the program; they hope to enable children to have a positive self-concept; to be accepting of others; to learn to express themselves, to be curious, imaginative and responsible; and want to learn, play and feel loved and secure. The program is available for children under 4 years old on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or Wednesdays 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The program is available for children that are 4 years old, Tuesdays through Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Crestview Baptist Church offers a safe Christian environment for preschool children ages 12 months through pre-kindergarten. Church Members and staff provide Bible stories, music, scripture, and other age-appropriate learning activities to help children mentally and spiritually grow and develop. The program is currently offered every Monday and Wednesday.

Grace Episcopal Preschool offers a quality education through an exposure of topics, people and adventures that help nurture creative, imaginative and artistic expression. They are a licensed, half-day Christian preschool that provides a Christian environment by focusing on a thorough and nurturing developmental program that meets the diverse needs of the growing world. They use the “Wee Learn” curriculum that is designed to incorporate developmentally appropriate activities that will keep children stimulated and engaged.
