The number one reason why people move from other states to Arizona is because of it's weather. Arizona has 8 beautiful months a year. The winter is perfect. The spring is full of life. The summer is bearable with the dry heat. The fall is full of weather that will keep anybody active. There are no down months in Arizona because of cold.

The winter months are what attract tens of thousands of winter visitors. Many residents of places like Wisconsin or even as far as New York will make a second home in Arizona for the Winter Months. Canadians are taking advantage of the low value of the dollar and are buying up arizona real estate like hot cakes. They also are attracted to the winters here. There will be no shoveling of snow or any cars that will have trouble starting because of the cold. Many northerners sport shorts and t-shirts during the winter months. Golfing season is at it's peak during these unlikely sunny months. Arizona can be a busy place in the winter and I doubt if there is any place that is as lively in the dead of the winter. If you miss the snow, it is only a one and a half hour drive from just about anywhere in Arizona. You can have the best of two worlds.

The spring time is an interesting time. Many future winter visitors will spend the spring months looking for a home to buy. The best time for real estate is the spring months in Arizona. The weather is great and it is a good time to buy so that one can make their move by the time the school year ends. Spring is also brings bright desert blossoms and vegetation of nearly every sort. Plants strive with the mild weather and plenty of sunshine making Arizona a beautiful place.

The summer is the least popular time of the year for anybody. People will close escrow on there homes they found in the spring, but nearly nobody searches for a home during the 100+ degree weather. The positives is that almost everybody has access to a pool. Many communities have a pool accessible to the neighbors ran by the association. If not more than a third of home owners own a pool. Residents know how to keep cool in the summer. Homes are built with high quality insulation and we seemed to have perfected air conditioning. Everybody and every car has it. There are also lakes and preserves that will facilitate boats and fishing.

Well if you can make it through the summer the fall is splendid. The weather cools down and the evenings are bliss. There isn't much wind or cold fronts, just mild weather. Still there is plenty of sun and very few cloudy days. This is about the time winter visitors began to return to Arizona so things liven up a bit.

With so much sunshine year round and dry weather, Arizona is a welcoming place for anybody. If you aren't a sun worshipper you will be okay. There are plenty of attractions to Arizona besides the sun.
