One thing to be sure of when starting a vacation rental is that you have the appropriate insurance and fail safes in place as well as a contracted cleaning service, this is assuming that you aren't doing the weekly cleaning yourself. One important aspect of this kind of renting is the fact that a good deal of advertising in necessary to make a profit. If nobody knows about your rental then it's not likely to make much in the way of profit. A good website and some networking should take care of that concern. There is some great money to be made in Florida's real estate market, educate yourself before purchasing and you will reap the rewards.
