Leander Texas | Information about Westview Meadows in Leander Texas

Westview Meadows is a quiet and family friendly neighborhood located south of 2243, west of 183 and east of Bagdad Road.  The homes were built in the 2000’s by Centex Homes.   The sizes of homes range from around 1100 square feet to just over 2500 square feet.  They offer three and four bedroom homes in eleven plans.  The prices range from just over $100,000 to around $200,000.  Home owners receive some nice features in these newer homes, and the square foot prices are very reasonable for the Austin area.

The Westview Meadows’ amenity center boasts a swimming pool, a gazebo, basketball courts and a playscape.  Westview Meadows also has easy access to Robin Bledsoe Park.  The neighborhood has easy access to the new 183A toll road, a huge grocery store and other box stores, many restaurants and much shopping.

Children in Westview Meadows attend the acclaimed Leander Independent School District, attending Jim Plain Elementary School, Leander Middle School and Leander High School. 

Leander offers an excellent school system, affordable living and the close proximity to Austin.  It has great nature features, including lakes, rolling hills and wildlife.  Austin Capital Metro is currently working on the first commuter rail that will connect Leander to central Austin.  Leander also has a golf course, a state-of-the-art library and several parks and activities.  Parks contain sports fields, a pavilion, hike and bike trails, a BMX track, a skate park, disc golf, a play scape, picnic tables, a swimming pool and an amphitheater.
