Many homes are lost to fire each year. In some of the cases it can be avoided .There are many ways to make a home less of a fire hazard. One way to make a home less of a fire hazard is make sure the wiring is up to code. The recommended thing to do is to have a professional look at the wiring. If the wiring need to be replaced he or she will let you know what steps to take.
Another way to make a home less of a fire hazard is to make sure all appliances that do now work properly are unplugged. more times than often a fire starts because an appliance that does now work properly is left plugged in. another thing when it come to appliance is the appliances that work properly but are left unattended. Some of these are ironers, heaters and tools like a soldering iron.
One last way to make a home less of a fire hazard is to make sure every floor in the home has at lease two smoke detectors. With smoke detectors you can spot a potential fire and stop it before it turns to a dangerous situation. When it comes to smoke detectors the batteries should be change twice a year, this will make sure all the smoke detectors are always working. There is no way to make a home absolutely fire proof, but if you use some of the information you read here you can make the home less of a fire hazed.

Alternatives to Marijuana?
By: Davorn | 13-08-2007
Hey guys,I use marijuana from time to time (3 hits every couple weeks), and here are the effects:The Good: I'm more relaxed the following couple weeks (with only a couple hits every couple weeks). I get a lot more relaxed and at peace than meditation or relaxation exercises ever get me. Marijuana is meditation times 10. Girls at bars open up to me more, since I'm more chill. Girls find me more attractive (and no, they DON'T know I've been smoking it). People seem to like me more, as I'm less intense. My neck and back have more movement and don't ache, and my chiropractor can adjust it far more easily. Less tension there there and my back and neck are in better shape with a dollar's worth of pot than a 75 dollar deep tissue massageThe BadI get kinda stupid for the next day or two after smoking up. I forget things, and am not as good of a writer and am less responsible. I'm not lazier, but more forgetful. It's difficult because marijuana helps me a lot in important areas, like health and relaxation, but it hurts productivity and intelligence, temporarily anyway. Is there anything else out there, preferably legal, that can give me all those good effects without having me be dumb for a couple days? Thanks--Davorn
