Described as one of Turkey’s most popular coastal resorts, the picturesque town of Side offers an enticing blend of ancient charm and modern day convenience. The resort itself has a wide selection of activities to cater for the residents and visitors every taste. From ancient theatres such as the one at Aspendos, through to the beautiful waterfalls at Manavgat, there is something for everyone. Central to the life of the town however is its ever popular beach area, where the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean lap up against the golden sand beaches which form the natural borders of the town.
This wealth of attractions, coupled with Side’s low cost of living and superb climate has resulted in a considerable increase in demand for property in Side over the past couple of years, a trend which has been reflected throughout the leading resorts of Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. With the development in the old town constrained due to the confined space, the majority of the new developments are located on the beachfront locations on the outskirts of the town.
The relatively low cost of Turkish property, combined with the rapidly increasing numbers of visitors to the region have resulted in a large increase in demand for property in Side and the surrounding areas. With the increase in numbers of visitors to the region set to continue for the foreseeable future, Side undoubtedly presents a strong case for people seeking to invest in property in the region.
