Children look forward to the end of the school year. With the summer comes, three months of playing outside, parks, riding bikes, baseball, playgrounds.

In the heat, parents watch hoping that they will be ready to go soon. Most are looking forward to getting back in the air-conditioned car then, in the air-conditioned house.

In the summer, the temperatures in Phoenix and Tucson averages between 80-105 degrees.

Here in Overgaard, AZ the temperature averages 55-85 degrees.

Your summer does not have to be three months of indoor activities, with the air conditioner turned up.

The White Mountains offers plenty of outdoor activities, that the whole family can enjoy, without the intense heat of Phoenix and Tucson. Children can get their much-needed exercise in the comfort of the cool mountain air.

Just a short 2-hour drive from the valley of the sun, makes this a great location whether you want to make it a day-trip or stay all summer.

If your family wants to experience the wonderful view, whether on foot or the comfort of a vehicle, we have many mountain trails and roads.

You can look into our campgrounds, lakes, golf courses, hiking trails, and much more, on our company's website.

If you are, an Investor Overgaard is a great place to invest in; Buckskin Building is a premier local General Building contractor located in Overgaard AZ.

When spending time outside, please remember to have plenty of water on hand and wear sun protection. Although the temperature is cooler, the atmosphere is thinner resulting in more UV exposure.

Sincerely,

Jim Nelson
