Amid reports of a new nation-wide mandatory registration for financiers - which may make mortgages more difficult to get - comes the great news that Denver realty is up again! If mandatory registration of mortgage 'originators' comes in, then the ordinary man in the street will have his fingerprints on file if his job is in originating mortgage financing! This is one of the clauses in the bill coming before the legislature this July. Its aim is to deflect any further mortgage crises such as we have seen in the last two years.
The thought of new licensing laws has caused a flurry of activity on the mortgage markets, and right now it is not so difficult to find financing. It is also a good time to list your home in Denver as the local market is on the increase.
According to a nation-wide report that has been published by Real-Time Housing Market in July 2008, the last several weeks saw a six point five per cent increase in Denver house prices. Perhaps sunny days and longer evenings make home ownership seem much more enjoyable than renting?
