There are literally hundreds of different ingredients that can be used to make smoothies in a blender. Listed below are some of my personal favorites. Keep in mind I tend to eat really healthy so if you don’t like the ingredients I use, you can usually substitute them with your own choice. Also my measurements are hit and miss so nothing is ever exact.
Banana Supreme
1 frozen banana
Plain yogurt or Rice milk
Ice
Drop of vanilla
Can add a teaspoon of matcha, protein powder or chai mix if wanted.
This is one of my ultimate favorite summer smoothies that guarantees to be delicious. I personally love to add the powdered chai mix which then makes it a banana chai smoothy which is absolutely delicious.
Matcha Energy Booster Smoothie
Plain yogurt or Rice milk
1 teaspoon of matcha
Ice
Drop of vanilla
Stevia
This smoothy is simply and very easy. It is not sweet at all so I usually add a squirt of liquid stevia to it. You can substitute the stevia for honey or some other type of sweetener if you like. This smoothie is delicious, healthy and truly a real energy booster
Beautiful Blueberry Smoothie
Frozen blueberries
Plain yogurt or Rice milk
Ice
Half a frozen banana
I do love blueberries and they happen to make for a great smoothie (just be sure to pick the remnants out of your teeth after!). The half a banana adds a bit of sweetness to this smoothie and you could also replace it with any other type of fruit if you like.
Fruit Surprise Smoothie
Add all of your left over fruit… from apples, to nectarines, to apricots, to blueberries, to strawberries, to peaches to banana’s.
Plain yogurt or Rice Milk
Ice
The taste of this smoothie will always be a surprise. You never know what you’re going to get when you simply add a lot of everything. Usually it turns out pleasantly good and often very sweet. I have literally made one with practically all of the above ingredients and it was strange looking but delicious none the less.
You can see a theme with all of my smoothies. The ingredients are fairly similar with just a few variations. The smoothies listed above are all healthy and wonderful to taste. Kids and adults will enjoy them and hopefully they will be a big hit on warmer days.
