CHRISTUS Health has entered into a three-year agreement with Schumacher Group, the third largest emergency physician and hospitalist management company in the nation, to be a preferred provider of emergency medicine and hospitalist solutions for CHRISTUS facilities.
Schumacher Group will offer comprehensive emergency department and hospitalist staffing and management solutions to many of CHRISTUS Health's 40-plus member hospitals located in southeast and southwest regions of the U.S. Under this agreement, CHRISTUS members will benefit from the long-standing partnership and can take advantage of this trusted relationship to consult Schumacher Group for customized solutions for their staffing and management needs.
CHRISTUS hospitals will benefit from a core staff of Schumacher Group expert clinicians, and will also experience the innovative approach and depth of operations expertise for which the company is known. Schumacher Group partner hospitals each receive the attention of a dedicated operating team of clinical and operational experts. Shored up by extensive resources and proven best practices, the teams ensure high quality care, Core Measures and PQRI compliance, efficiencies, high patient satisfaction, and cost effectiveness for client hospitals.
