How To Find The Best Executive Recruitment

If you are an executive, finding the time to search for a new role is a major challenge. Sending your CV to recruiters is time-consuming, and you can be left with the feeling that somewhere, out there, is the recruiter who could have made a crucial difference to your career.

Recruiters, similarly, can feel that they are letting the best candidates slip by while their time is consumed with CVs from unsuitable candidates with no significant experience in their area.

There is a vast resource for executive recruitment available to you as an individual or recruiter through internet: companies offering CV distribution and search services, which will allow individuals convenient access to recruiters, and excellent match-making services for recruiters.

What's more, many of these executive recruitment services are available for free, unlike traditional job board services that charge recruiters a fee for sending them relevant CVs.

These companies work in one of two ways. You can either send a one-off email that distributes your CV to registered recruiters in a certain search category. Or you can wait for a recruiter to find your CV on a database of all candidates that have registered on that site. The oldest of the CV sending service in the UK is CV Trumpet. Other firms, such as CV Jet, offer a similar executive recruitment service for a fee.

If you're looking for senior-level position, there will be a limited number of executive recruitment companies that have the contacts necessary to make a difference to your career. But you'll need to make sure your CV gets to them, as they can make all the difference.

One key benefit to the individual of CV-sending services is that the recruiter needs to actively state the type of person they are looking for before they are sent CVs, which means you are only likely to be contacted by recruiters that are genuinely interested.

While individuals will benefit from convenience and efficiency of online executive recruitment firms, recruiters will benefit from having only the most relevant CVs sent to them, and can specify that they only receive emails from executives. They can and the convenience of an extended database to search through.

Recruiters can receive emails or search through categories including Industry, job function, salary level, geographical area, and of course job level. Candidates are identified by their skills, which also saves recruiters and search companies time and money.
