HEALING BENEFITS OF REIKI FOR YOUR PETS

Reiki, translated “universal life energy” is a holistic healing modality that has changed millions of lives. Reiki helps one heal at all levels: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritually. There are different levels to Reiki. Level 1 Reiki the student learns to do hands on healing and send healing to a short distance. Level 2 Reiki the student learns symbols so they can send healing energy at a distant.  That distance is in the past, present, or future. At that level the healing energy you send is stronger than level 1 Reiki. Level 3 & Master Level are often combined in the same training. At the Master Level the student not only learns new symbols that are stronger but is also opened up to become a teacher. It is only at the Master Level where one can open up others to the healing ability.

I was blessed many years ago to personally experience Reiki treatments. At the time I was challenged with Crohns Disease and searched out options for preventing surgery. I had no idea how Reiki was going to change my life in many positive ways. Having Reiki prevented the surgery and helped me heal a disease that I was told was incurable. I healed physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I became empowered! Experiencing how powerful Reiki was at changing my life I wanted to learn this healing modality and help others heal. Now, a Reiki Master my healing with animals and people has been tremendously rewarding and made a huge positive impact for thousands of people.

My first experience helping my dog Rocky heal came at his age of 14 years old. Rocky had developed a tumour on his paw. The Vet wanted to amputate his paw in order for him to live. Instead I used Reiki and within 2 weeks that tumour went away and Rocky had 2 more years of quality life. It was such a blessing for me to be able to help my furry friend, as he had given me so much in my life.

I went on to help my other dog Molly after that.  Molly was a dog I rescued from a shelter. At the age of 3 months old she had been abused. She didn’t trust people and was frightened of new experiences.  When she got stressed or angry she turned that anger inside. As a result she developed Cancer. She had developed a tumour on her hind quarters.  Again I turned to the healing power of Reiki. Molly would come to me with a look saying, “please help me” and would guide me to where she wanted the healing by positioning her body by my hand. As I would send her Reiki healing I would also share with her how she was a very good girl and I really loved her. With Molly she needed an emotional healing. Within one month that Cancer disappeared.

Recently, I was able to help my dog Willy. Willy had a stroke. He was suffering. His heart was weak and his one eye was drooped down as a result of the stroke. I thought for sure his life was over.  I witnessed Willy guide me where he needed the healing. He positioned his body with the area in need of a healing by my hand. When he received enough healing in that area, he shifted his body. Now just 2 weeks later he is like a puppy again. After each treatment he turns his head for us to make eye contact then he licks my hand as his way of saying thank you for the gift.

My daily routine includes making time for each of my dogs to get a morning Reiki session. These healing treatments will last anywhere from 10 to 25 minutes. After the session each dog will make eye contact with me acknowledging the treatment is over, and then lick me to say a loving thank you to share their gratitude.

Experiencing Reiki treatments for myself, giving Reiki treatments to pets, people, and going on to train others how to do Reiki has been some of the best rewards of my life. I am very grateful to be able to give back to all the animals for the good they do me and others. Reiki can and will change your life and the lives of others around you.
