I have been a relationship therapist for 3 decades and have seen the troubles that body image have caused. But times have certainly changed.
Plus sized women are definitely "in." Queen Latifah, for instance, has gained a truly devoted following of men. "I have to make a confession," said Steven Bouchard of Seattle, Washington. "I find Queen Latifah's big, beautiful body to be super sexy and I'd give anything for a date with her. I've always had a thing for fat black women and she really is the epitome of everything I find attractive." Steven's not the only one.
Body image has proved to be a the root of many relationship problems over the decades. It's surprising how many women used to put up with abusive, insulting husbands, even accepting (or denying) their womanizing. Today, there's no need of this.
