God what should I do, should I slaughter this animal to sacrifice to you,
Should I let my life suffer in the worst of ways,
Just to have approval and hear what you say.
God
I love you my son but not today,
So run along little child,
Go outside and play.
Ryan
But Lord,
I have done all you wanted me to do,
I suffocated myself until my face turned blue,
I gave my life away to see what you had,
But even today I feel so damn sad.
Why my God just give me a sign,
I know you were sacrificed and hung on the pine,
I know you healed the sick and cured the blind.
I know your people can be wicked so you brought the floods,
But today my Lord,
My worlds in the mud.
I go to sleep at night just to imagine what I’ll dream,
I want you to dunk me under and wash me clean.
I want to wake up tomorrow and look in the mirror,
I want to smile for once without any tears.
I want you to take the sadness and turn it around,
I’m willing today no matter how repetitious that may sound.
Please hold my hand and give me some love,
Send down an angel in the form of a dove.
Give me a note from the Heavens so high,
Be honest and truthful without any lies.

God
Ok Ryan here’s what you want,
You sit there and write about me and enjoy to taunt.
You bust my chops every time you speak,
Your mission now is to preach to the blind and the meek.
You don’t deserve to be happy the rest of your days,
Now you’re hearing me,
You see what I say.

Ryan
But God,
Help me I’m going through hell,
I feel like I’m in prison as I sit in this cell,
The walls are leaking and it’s a horrible smell.
God
Ryan my son I just don’t know,
I don’t know how low I’ll let your pathetic life go,
I know your cold but I wont stop the snow.
Push these days out cause I’m still out of town,
Whip your face and get rid of your frown,
I know your hearts rotting,
It’s turning dark brown.
Ryan
I have been pushing things out for a while now,
I’m on my knees and I’m taking a bow.
God
Stop your crying,
I got to run,
This is a collect call so it’s costing me a ton,
This conversation is done,
My one in one billion son.

Ryan
Well fine my Lord do what you gotta do,
I thought our relationship grew,
But once again I remain your number two…
