Most of the anxiety and frustration that exists in relationships can be avoided. The key is to be aware of the emotional triggers that each and every one of us possesses. Unfortunately, the majority of people will wait until these triggers have had their strongest impact and, not knowing how to deal with them, find themselves either fighting with their significant other - or just running away.
It doesn't have to be this way. Once you learn to recognize the emotional triggers that have the potential to set you or (or the other person), you've already got an advantage. The key here is recognize them for what they are and not give them the unnecessary power that too many people do. Everyone has these "buttons" and, quite frankly, if other people know what yours are, you could be very susceptible to manipulation. Perhaps you already have experienced a hint of this?
This is a whole study in itself - and it's worth learning about. If you want to get a thorough understanding of this, then by all means pursue it... the best resource you'll find on the web is located at:

That course (don't be intimidated by the word "course" - it's easy stuff to follow) will definitely set you in the right direction. You'll not only find yourself in command of your relationships that have to do with love - but all your relationships will benefit, including those that have to do with family, friends, and co-workers, too!
This course was referred to by the Wall Street Journal and has been highly recommended by so many people.
Onward to healthier relationships!

Stacy and mom again
By: lover454 | 23-11-2007
Two days ago (Wednesday, November 20, 2007) at lunch time when Stacy went to the 99 cent store she brought 25 rings (three styles in every color). Any way Stacy started to think about the two times when her mom said the following: (a) Stacy and her mom were at a crafts fair and Stacy was looking at rings and Stacy had a few in her hand and her mom said "how many are u going to buy" Then later on her mom said she did not care what or how much Stacy brought. Her mom told her that the only reason she did not want Stacy to buy the rings was because they were ugly. (They were ugly and that was why Stacy put them back and did not buy the rings) ((THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED OVER THE SUMMER)) (b) Stacy went to a 99 cent store with her mother because Stacy wanted to see about purses (some stores sell beautiful purses for $1.69 - parachute material similar to LeSportac). Stacy has a lot of purses at that price to. Any way as Stacy was taking the colors Stacy wanted her mother grabbed them out of Stacys hand. Later on Stacys mom said that the reason why she grabbed them out of Stacys hand and said that Stacy didnt need more was because she wanted to leave the store. (THIS HAPPENED A YEAR AGO) However, when Stacy and her mom were eating dinner on Wednesday, November 20, 2007 Stacy said to her mom do you care that I brought 25 rings today and her mom said no it is your money buy whatever you want. SO of course Stacy called me and I told her that she is reading way to much into this and her mother really does not care.MY question: (1) What do you think - Is Stacy reading to much into those two incidents I wrote in red above and (2) do you concur with what I told her.

Please, I Need help with my Girlfriend
By: omgitistotallymatt | 21-11-2007
If you have read my earlier threads, i have been talking about my girlfriend and I "touching" so to speak. I have talked with her and found it is against her personal morals to do this sort of thing. While i respect this decision, and I have asked multiple times if it was something else (only to get the reply no), could it be she is insecure, or is she really not ready? Also, being a teenager, I do not totally comprehend the opposite sex, but the only reason why I bring this up is that I have an urge telling me deep down that this is the right thing to do. I know that I should not totally trust it, but I was wondering, could she have the same feeling in her, she is jsut hiding/repressing it?Above all this, I see her this weekend, and personally, I would like to show her a good time, but in order to do this I feel I will have to get her into that "sensual, hot" mood, if you catch my drift, does anyone have any ideas on that.If anyone can help me on this, I am very thankful. I know she loves me, and I love her back, but this urge is starting to kill me a bit inside, so I want to fix it now. Should I ask her if she has the same feelings inside, I have asked her many awkward ?'s and she seems to be ok with them. Thanks for any answers.
