How to Get My Ex Back - With High Impact Dating!

I can hear you saying to yourself right now: "What the heck is High Impact Dating?" Let me explain. I have written articles on how to fix breakups, how to get your ex back, etc. But today we are going to consider the next step in the process. 

You have successfully re-established contact with your ex. You are ready to go out on that crucial, make-or-break "first" date. What to do? Where to go? 

The first thing that may come to your mind, especially, perhaps, if you are a man, is dinner and a movie. Boring! Your significant other has probably been out on many such dates. One more is unlikely to make much of an impression on her. 

You want something more exciting, more memorable and even a bit melodramatic, preferably emotionally charged. Something he or she will not soon forget. 

Experiences like that create, or re-create, a wonderful emotional bond between you that will be the cornerstone of your renewed relationship. Example? A roller coaster ride. Or downhill skiing. If she is not a skier, all the better. Arrange for her first lesson! 

Maybe something a bit tamer? When I was courting my wife, I took her for a rowboat ride on a small lake on a wonderful, sunny Sunday afternoon. The ducks appreciated our snacks, and we loved floating around on the water. 

What are her interests, her hobbies and sports activities? Spend a few minutes thinking carefully about these. Then find a fun activity related to one of them. This will increase the odds that your ex will enjoy herself. She will also appreciate the effort and creativity that went into the planning for the event. 

Here is another trick. We all yearn for the good old days. So cast your mind back to the things he liked to do, or the things he enjoyed, back when the relationship was young and intense. Why not do something similar again? Go back to the same amusement park, tennis court or romantic riverfront park where it all began. This may rekindle those warm fuzzy feelings in your ex. That is a good start. 

Be patient and straightforward. Remember the KISS principle: Keep It Simple, Stupid! Do not be in a rush. Make eye contact when you speak to her. Be sure you are clean, look good, smell good, and are appropriately dressed for whatever the two of you are doing. 

Why not clean out your closet, and give your old clothes to the Goodwill. Then buy a few new items. When your ex sees you in new clothes, this will help to psychologically set the stage for a new beginning for you both. 

Toss out a few honest compliments about her looks, her hair, job or other aspect of her life. Listen carefully when she talks, and respond with thoughtfulness and sensitivity. Do not act needy or dependent. That is not a good basis for a relationship. Be cool, and let things build naturally. 

Watch her closely, to see if she is interested in you and your life. Does she listen when you talk? Does she make eye contact with you? If so, you are on the right track. Stay alert, and think about what you are doing and saying.  Let your new relationship develop slowly.
