At some time during their life, almost everyone will suffer the pain and trauma of a relationship that does not work out. In many cases, it is then just a case of the two respective parties moving on with their lives and putting the recent events down to experience.
A painful experience, granted, but nothing more than an experience nevertheless.
In some cases, however, one or other of the parties to be failed relationship does not want to let the whole thing go quite so easily.
If you find yourself in this situation, and you want to know how to get back the girl you lost, then this article is for you!
No doubt, if you find yourself in this situation, then you will be extremely sad, not to say heartbroken.
The first thing that you must therefore do is to start moving away from feeling so down, because the only guaranteed certainty is that the girl you lost is not going to come back to when you are in your present state!
It is simply a fact that your ex is not likely to be interested in you whilst you are showing so very little interest in yourself.
You need to start getting back onto your feet as quickly as possible, and you need to show your girl that you have not forgotten how to be the strong and resilient character that she first fell in love with.
Feeling sorry for yourself is perfectly understandable, but is essentially useless in your current situation nevertheless.
The thing that is least likely to get your girl to come back to you is you showing the clear signs of weakness that are most frequently associated with a spurned lover.
No matter how devastated or heartbroken you may be feeling, you cannot allow these feelings to be seen by the world at large, and by your ex in particular.
She originally fell in love with someone who was determined, optimistic and lots of fun.
In all truth, with your hand on your heart, could you say that this is the kind of person that you are at this very moment?
I would be more than willing to hazard a guess that the answer to this question would be a resounding 'No'.
However, this is exactly the kind of person that you must be to give yourself any reasonable chance of getting her to come back to.
Thus it is that there must be a considerable seachange in the way that you are living your life at present.
For example, do not under any circumstances be tempted to buy her flowers or chocolates as a way of saying sorry for what has happened. Firstly, there is a very good chance that you have nothing to say sorry for and, secondly, buying flowers or chocolates are the actions of a desperate man!
Plus the fact is that such actions are hardly ever effective, and that all you will be doing is wasting your money, thus adding to your misery still further.
When you are in a long established relationship, it is very easy to become lackadaisical and to start taking everything for granted, everyone knows that. Thus it was that the 'you' that your girl originally fell for was allowed to fade into memory somewhat during the time that you were together.
So, if you want to put things right again, the answer is remarkably simple.
Try to revert back to being the person that she originally fell in love with, and make sure that she knows about it too.
Doing so cannot guarantee that you will be successful in your quest, but if you really want to know how to get back the girl you lost, this is at least a major step in the right direction that should give you some chance of success.
