Just like girls men can get jealous. Balance is a very important word when it comes to relationships and so is communication. If you're girlfriend doesn't understand your feelings and vice versa there can be many problems. Usually what can happen is that she may do something, and she's just being her self, but it some how makes you so mad inside, but you might keep those feelings all bottled up for the sake of avoiding the argument. Then when you try to talk to her about your issues/emotions/feelings, she fights and avoids the entire situation making things even worse then it started out. Sometimes your girlfriend or boyfriend for that matter may simply wish to be more independent. Usually when its your first relationship you might put a lot of emphasis on your girlfriend and/or boyfriend, but its important to understand that your not married and therefore should not be treating your relationships like your married. In the world we live in today you will have many goals and priorities that should be set above your girlfriend or boyfriend if they are legitimately more important. Also if you are raised in a tight knit family for example, keep in mind that you shouldn't neglect family and/or friends for your girlfriend or boyfriend. Doing these things and avoiding fights and problems before they start can get you on a good path. A path in which you wont want to fight and can see the other side of the picture. You will most likely then find that your partner will actually like you more. Yes, its funny but women are funny creatures, and sometimes even though us men may think, that things should be a certain way, they will naturally think differently.
