Pranks to Play on the Stag

Playing pranks on the groom: what springs to mind? If it’s wrapping a bare-bottomed stag to a lamppost in cling film, you could probably do with some fresh inspiration. Read on.

Simple stitch-up: You’ll need a penny, it will become the most powerful penny you’ll ever see. Every decision, every choice, will be decided by this dirty old penny. Another drink? Another club? Lap dance or get a round in? The penny decides, and there is a heavy forfeit if you disobey!

If the groom is having a Church wedding, write “HELP” on the soles of his shoes. When the bride and groom kneel at the alter, the groom’s cry will be read by the congregation while the happy couple remain oblivious. Cruel, but subtle, we like it.

One great trick comes to mind, but first you’ll need the bride onside, and take a trip to an adult store. At the store, buy a blow-up doll and name her Annie, Suzie if you prefer (hopefully you’ll have one left over from your Stag do). This joke requires the Bride’s collaboration, since on the night of the honeymoon, Annie will be waiting instead of the bride. You want to cover her up well as you place her in the honeymoon bed. The best time to situate Annie is when the stag is in the bathroom preparing for his “Honeymoon Special”. Warning: do not attempt this prank without the bride’s coercion!

The stag party is prime time prank opportunity. Whether you want to go for an elaborate planning-intensive stag stitch-up or an off-the-cuff prank, make sure you know your groom’s boundaries, and for goodness sake, do not disfigure the poor chap. Hell hath on fury like a bride-to-be, so leave those eyebrows intact.
