Take Time to Show You Care

I was recently reminded of how easy it is to get into the busy aspects of life as some of the more important areas just pass you by.

For example, while focusing on your job, your career, family functions, children and all of their many needs and demands, you might just forget about how important it is to take care of the love of your life.

It seems easy for me to brush aside this pressing issue as life continues to roll on by, but is it really wise?

Well, it may not be a matter of wise or unwise, but instead a matter of how do you want your partner to feel about you and how do you want your partner to treat you.

Do you want your partner to be satisfied with your relationship? Do you want you partner to be excited to see you and be with you? Well, do you? If you are like most people, the answer is yes.

Now answer this. Do you expect it just to happen? Should he or she be in a continual mood to want to do special things for you and make you feel special even if you aren’t doing anything for your partner?

Well, when you look at it that way you can start to see pretty clearly that it takes two to tango and if you aren’t out there at least trying a little bit, then you can probably expect that your partner might not be out there trying as hard as he or she could either.

And can you blame them? Not really. For me, I don’t really expect a lot especially if I’m not putting a lot in.

The point is that you should certainly take a little bit of time to do something special for that loved one at least once in a while. That way they will know that you care about them. Even better than that is the fact that many times you will receive even more back than you originally put in.

So take a little time out of your busy life to let the special one in your life know that you are thinking of them and that they are special to you.
