Understanding Men Relationships

In reality, it is quite easy, but nearly all women have the toughest time understanding men. Hidden inside the heart of every man is a secret wish to be trusted. How many times have men said to their wives, “If you would just trust me?”

Many men wonder why it seems so hard for their spouses to do something so apparently easy. The answer stems from the physiological disparities involving the sexes.

It starts at birth when little boys are given a clear physical benefit over little girls by having higher levels of testosterone. With testosterone comes the physical strength to defend themselves from danger.

Most little girls don’t have that capacity. They don’t possess the power to protect themselves in a raw fight once they feel endangered.

If a boy trusts somebody who in turn harm him, he can always defend himself physically. Little girls don’t have that physical power. Because a person can only trust from a position of strength, those same little girls will grow up into women who naturally have a more difficult time “trusting” once they feel in danger.

So men, while you ask the woman of your choice to just “trust you,” it is not that she can't, it is just that she is more exposed than you are. If you would like her to depend on you, she desires something that will help her develop that trust.

Perhaps even a gesture that she can “count on” until her trust in you is established. Thankfully this tool already exists and is known by every woman. What cultivates trust in a woman is a man who consistently keeps his word. To her, making a promise is meaningless if there is no follow-through.

A woman needs to SEE her man fulfill his promises – not just hear his assurance without action.

Allow me to illustrate. Imagine someone told you that I was the uncaring person they had ever met. For months, all you heard was how terrible I treated my family and friends.

Then one day you meet me, and during the course of our meeting, you begin to notice that I do not seem to be as horrible as you have been led to believe. I in reality show to be quite nice.

Would you change your entire belief about me on or after only one visit? Maybe not! Nevertheless, if you saw me take action every time with compassion and meekness over a course of some weeks, your belief of me would start to alter.

A paradox has now been established in understanding men. The gentleness you have seen in me for the previous few weeks does not agree with what you have heard concerning me. All the gossips of how unpleasant I am start to diminish into shadows as a result of my steady actions.

Over time, what you notice will replace almost, if not all, of your worries about my character.

Men, when the woman you love sees your words lining up with your actions, trust will naturally follow. When you don’t keep your word, it causes your wife or girlfriend to become fearful. From her perspective, she has entrusted you with her heart and WANTS to trust you. She simply needs you to help her trust so she can give you what you desire.

Understanding men can be very tough because most men believe there is no one on the planet who knows and understands them to the degree that they desire and deserve.
