Why a Mastermind Team?

I have developed and grown as a person over the last five years and I give credit to the concept of a mastermind team for much of that growth. Over the years I have participated in a number of mastermind teams, some more beneficial that others. But, ALL have been beneficial in some way. Through the eyes of others I have been able to see, create and design an exciting new life with many new possibilities!

My first introduction to the mastermind concept was Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Jack Canfield also writes about the power of a mastermind team in the book The Power of Focus. There are many examples that financial success is a fairly clear measure of how the power of mastermind can make a difference. A wonderful book that demonstrates this is Uncommon Friends by Jim Newton.

There is awesome power in the mastermind team to make positive and lasting changes in our personal lives as well as our financial lives.

What is one area of your life that you would like to make some positive changes in? What is working in your life? Ask yourself what could be working better?

What kind of support do you already have? Do you have a supportive family and friends in your life? Are they challenging you to learn and grow, stretching yourself to become an ever better you? A benefit of a productive mastermind team is that you surround yourself with people you can learn from. Even if you are one of the smartest people in your mastermind team; there will still be areas where you can learn from others.

With a Mastermind team you will discover all kinds of possibilities that you have overlooked or never seen; you will be excited about what you discover is available to you. Through your mastermind team you can find solutions to everyday problems whether they are about health, relationships or money.

A mastermind team is a great way to get advice and encouragement in the areas of your life where you would like to see positive changes. Ask yourself, "Is my personal development engine in Forward, Neutral or Reverse?"

By having a mastermind group around, U won't have to go it alone.

Write down the top 10 people you regularly associate with. When you review the list, understand that you will become an exact duplicate of those people. - This is where you need to be very honest with yourself. If you do not want to be an exact duplicate of those people then you will need to change who you regularly associate with.

I am proud to say that each and every day I associate with people who are either at my level of enthusiasm, excitement and intelligence or even more than I am which is the key to a personally productive mastermind team. You need to be a part of a group of people who make you want to exceed your present reach.
