In the Noble Quran, Allah is asking mankind some important questions.
It seems compulsory for the serious one who is looking for the truth to have a look at those questions and if possible to answer them.
Allah' questions are many. In this series, these questions are chosen randomly.
---------------
In verses 4:145-147 of the Noble Quran, Allah asking mankind this question: In verses 4:145-147 of the Noble Quran, Allah asking mankind this question: what can Allah gain with punishing you if you thank and believe? Why should Allah punish you if ye are thankful for His mercies? Verily, the hypocrites will be in the lowest deep place of the Fire because of their evil save those who repent, of hypocrisy, and make amends, in their deeds, and hold fast to their belief in Allah's divine Oneness inwardly.
---------------
Verses 4:145-147 of the Noble Quran give the question of this article and talk about it.
The meanings of the verses 4:145-147
Verse 4:145 says:
Verily, the hypocrites will be in the lowest level, place, of the Fire, that is, its bottom; the lowest deep of it because of their evil, betrayal and scheming against the Prophet Muhammad and against his Companions
And you will never find a helper or a protector for them, anyone to guard them from the Fire.
Verse 4:146 says:
Save those who repent, of hypocrisy, and make amends, in their deeds, and hold fast to their belief in Allah's divine Oneness inwardly, put their trust in Allah and make their religion purely God’s, free from any pretence;
Those are with the believers, in terms of what they shall be given; and God will certainly give the believers a great wage, in the Hereafter, and that is Paradise.
it is also said that this means that they are with them as far as the promise is concerned; and it is also said that this means that they are with the believers both inwardly and outwardly; and it is said that they are with the believers in Paradise. (And Allah will bestow on the believers) sincere believers (an immense reward) an abundant reward in Paradise.
Verse 4:147 says:
Why would God chastise you if you are thankful, of His favors, and believe, in Him? The interrogative is meant as a denial, in other words: He would not punish you?
What concern has Allah for your punishment; why should Allah punish you if ye are thankful for His mercies; if you believe inwardly in His divine Oneness and believe in Him and you have faith inwardly?
Allah was ever Responsive; He is responsive for the little that is done in His sake and rewards abundantly for it, He is Aware of those who are thankful and of those who are not.
Allah is ever Thankful, of the deeds of believers, rewarding them,
And Allah ever knows of His creation.

Verse 4:146
QARIB: but those who repent and mend (their ways), who hold fast to Allah, and make their religion sincerely for Allah they are with the believers, and Allah will certainly give the believers a great wage.
SHAKIR: except those who repent and amend and hold fast to Allah and are sincere in their religion to Allah, these are with the believers, and Allah will grant the believers a mighty reward
PICKTHAL: save those who repent and amend and hold fast to Allah and make their religion pure for Allah (only). those are with the believers. and Allah will bestow on the believers an immense reward.
YUSUFALI: except for those who repent, mend (their lives) hold fast to Allah, and purify their religion as in Allah's sight: if so they will be (numbered) with the believers. and soon will Allah grant to the believers a reward of immense value.
Verse 4:147
QARIB: what, would Allah do with punishing you if you thank and believe! Allah is the thanker, the knower.
SHAKIR: why should Allah chastise you if you are grateful and believe? And Allah is the multiplier of rewards, knowing
PICKTHAL: what concern hath Allah for your punishment if ye are thankful (for his mercies) and believe (in him)? Allah was ever responsive, aware.
YUSUFALI: what can Allah gain by your punishment, if ye are grateful and ye believe? nay, it is Allah that recogniseth (all good), and knoweth all things.
