Lindsay Roberts and the Revival Ministries International is a ministry that crosses denominational boundaries and geographical borders to fulfill what the Lord has called it to do, to stir up the Church, telling her to get ready for the coming revival.
God has always spoken to my hubby in a very distinct and direct way ; Oral has heard God's audible voice many times. But God has never dealt with me that way. At one time in my life, I wanted God to chat to me just like He did to Oraluntil I learned why God deals with everybody differently. One day, when we were working with a very difficult problem at ORU, I went for a walk. As I was praying over the issue, I said,'Lord, why don't you simply give me the answer to this so I can tell Oral and get this worry off his mind? You talk aloud to him all of the time, but you do not ever talk to me like that!'
did you know what the Lord told me? 'Evelyn, I can never speak to you like I talk to Oral because I haven't called you to do what I have called him to do. I speak to you in the 'everydayness' of your life.' Well, that suited me fine, because I am an'everyday' kind of person, for sure!
he is's inquisitive about the little stuff
God speaks to me in quiet techniques. He helps me with the tiny nitty-gritty things of everyday life things that others might not care about or be aware of because he's interested in every tiny thing that concerns me. As an example, infrequently I have been expecting company and it seemed like I couldn't get my place cleaned and the meal cooked in time. At those times I've asked Him for strength, and with His mystical help everything got done, and I'd be feeling good when our company arrived!
I am just an ordinary person, potentially very like you. What God has done for me, I know he will be able to do for you because Acts 10:34 says God is no respecter of persons. Are not you glad that Jesus loves normal folks like us? He is's not a God just for SundaysHe's a common kind of God!
