And John Adams endorsed : "The general elements that the fathers achieved autonomy were the general elements of Christianity."
In truth, he even advised that America's birthday "be honored as a day of solemn deliverance .by solemn acts of attention to God Almighty.". Laid the foundation of human government on the first precepts of Christianity." Regardless of the abounding proof, some prominent Christian priests now claim the 4th of July was an act of willful insubordination against God and that God thus can't bless America?
