How do we make that twelve in transfer: the average distance from one's brain to the heart?  And why is the church so resistent to the power of LOVE and so enamored by the concepts of LAW, creeds, and formulas? God is not LAW. God is not CREED. God is LOVE! We know this in our head, but we don't know it where it counts- in our heart!

Why is it that science knows what the church does not?

The heart is an incredible electo-magnetic organ: much more powerful than the brain. The Zeeman effect (magnetism) and the Stark effect (electricity) are proven principles that atoms are altered by the introduction or presence of electro-magnetic forces. Translation- what I give me heart to changes the physical reality of that entity. Love isn't weakness!

And it's the heart (emotions) far more so than the brain (thoughts) that has POWER!

And yet the church wherein LOVE is to play such a central role, that emotions are down-played and in many cases purposefully shunned in favor of legalistic approaches to behavior and life. It's been that way from the get-go. The law oriented proto-orthodoxists knocked out the mystically oriented gnostics and we've been on that road for two seventeen hundred years- or at least since the Nicean Creed.

Thank you very much Constantinehttp://www.lrchouston.com/archive/christians-are-constantinians.php\">Constantine>!  :-(

Scientists cut right to the chase in saying that it's the HEART that has the POWER and not the brain. The Institute of HeartMath has affirmed that the heart is 60x greater in it's electrical signal than the brain and 5,000x stronger in it's magnetic force than the brain. Hey church, wake up and smell the Starbucks.

Life is primarily about LOVE not LAW!

Breaking Up With Constantine: Christians Can Rejoice in Their Lowered Influence in Partisan Politics
By: Calvin T Stevens | 31/12/2007 | Politics
The reduced influence of the Christian political block in the US is actually a good thing for Christians. Riding a legacy of 17 centuries since Emperor Constantine made Christianity the state religion, this relationship distracts churches from their core purposes in addressing human need. Just picking agreeable political systems and candidates and endorsing or moralizing is not our calling; the Christian movement must maintain its criticism and deep suspicion of all secular forms of power.
