Hinduism lays greatest emphasis to surrender to Sadguru. The Sadguru means God in human form. He/she is not like any ordinary learned person but he/she is God in a human body. Many times some Sadgurus speak very less but that does not mean that they know lesser than those who speak volumes. Rather a Sadguru will bring changes in your mind, heart and body that are revolutionary. You can feel the changes that are permanent and can be difficult to describe. A single word spoken by a Sadguru can change your life forever. a simple touch can change your life for ever and sometimes Sadguru brings about changes in you without showing any outward sign. Surrender to Sadguru is most important.
What precisely do I understand by word surrender? I believe that surrender to Sadguru means having no desire left of one's own. Have no ego of one's own. Have no belief that one is knowledgeable or logical. One should leave everything to Sadguru. Let him/her decide what is best and do what he/she orders. Is this possible? In normal circumstances, it is not possible. This is made possible by Sadguru himself/herself. Guru slowly removes all that not needed in us and fills us with total obedience. We reach a state where we only serve God and at that time Guru gives us all that is best for us without any effort from our side. Guru bestows the greatest gifts without us asking or making any effort. This is called the concept of surrender as per my understanding. As I am not a Sadguru myself I can surely not say that what I have written is correct. But this is my understanding on my journey with my Guru. First pray to God that he brings you in contact with his form as Sadguru and then begin the journey towards surrendering yourself.

What does God Require of Me?
By: Stephen Stillman | 28/11/2009God is our heavenly Father, and as our Father it is easy for us to become dependent on Him when we are in need. In our dependency on God we expect Him to do what we ask. The Word of God tells us that we are to ask and we will be given, but that doesn’t mean God is required to do what we ask. The Word of God tells us that it is us who are obligated, and God has requirements of us. What exactly does God require?

A Simple Servant by Rodney Howard Browne
By: Stephen Schwartz | 27/11/2009No words can describe what took place in that tiny upstairs bedroom when the corpse started to stir and Elijah saw life returning to the boy's body. No words can describe being in the middle of such a trial and then watching God, in an a miracle moment or period, work it out. Only you who've been there can nod, smile, and say,'Amen. I know exactly what you are describing ; I've seen God do it.'. That's what we could have done, or maybe that is what some televangelist might do, b...
Trust In Me by Rodney Howard Browne
By: Courtney Sears | 27/11/2009All David had was a sling and a stone as he took on a giant wearing 200 pounds of armor. It may appear stupid, but that's the way God operates. In the final research, there had been a whoosh, whoosh, whoosh-one stone flew thru the air, and that is's all there had been to it. I am not sure what your menacing giant is today. It may relate to your job, your roommate, or your varsity. Perhaps it is a person, a legal action, unemployment, a tragedy. Perhaps it is some worry that's ...
