In the Bible But not in the Quran (4): Kill the Gay!

Homosexuality can refer to sexual behavior between organisms of the same sex.

The word homosexual is a Greek and Latin hybrid from of the Greek prefix homo- ("same"), and the Latin root sex, thus connoting sexual acts and affections between members of the same sex, including lesbianism.

Gay refers to male homosexuality and Lesbian denotes female homosexuality. Gay and lesbian are the most common alternatives of homosexual.

In religious cultures, the law established sodomy as a transgression against divine law, a "crime against nature" and subject to severe penalties, including capital punishment—often inflicted by means of fire so as to purify the unholy action.

In the 1950s, at the height of the red scare in the United States, hundreds of federal and state employees were fired because of their homosexuality in the so-called lavender scare.

Homosexual acts are punishable by death in some present-day countries including Iran, Mauritania, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Yemen etc.

Reform Judaism, the largest branch of Judaism outside Israel has begun to facilitate religious weddings for gay adherents in their synagogues. Jewish Theological Seminary, considered to be the flagship institution of Conservative Judaism, decided in March 2007 to begin accepting gay and lesbian applicants, after scholars who guide the movement lifted the ban on gay ordination.

In 2005, the United Church of Christ became the largest Christian denomination in the United States to formally endorse same-sex marriage.

The Gay in the Bible:

Do not be a Gay, the LORD Commands:

In Leviticus 18:22, the LORD commands not to be a gay.

1- New International Version

"'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

2- New American Standard Bible

You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination

3- King James Version

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

4- The Message

"Don't have sex with a man as one does with a woman. That is abhorrent.

According to these four different versions of the Bible, to be a gay is detestable, abomination and abhorrent.

However, the sin of the gay is greater than that, that is why:

In Leviticus 20:13, the LORD commands to kill the gay! Look at these four different versions of the Bible:

1- New International Version

If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

2- New American Standard Bible

If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their blood guiltiness is upon them.

3- King James Version

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

4- The Message

"If a man has sex with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is abhorrent. They must be put to death; they are responsible for their own deaths.

The Gay in the Quran:

The Noble Quran considers the gay act as a big sin that deserves punishment in the afterlife.

But the Quran does not command to kill the Gay!

-----------------

What if the Quran was the Book which commands to kill the uncircumcised, to kill the one who curses his parents and or to kill the Gay? What the western media would have said? What names they have given the Quran in such case?

Hey guys, thanks for the informative things abour the bible and Quran. I would love to see more of these understanding facts. I have visited many places and the main answers of the christians is that the Quran is a borrowed book. But the the christians themselves agree the authenticity of the Quran, but here this professor really proves the point back to the both scriptures and the understanding the scriptures. Its very logical that Muhammed(pbuh) just copied the part which is logical and denied the unscientific portions. Thats not possible for a unlearned men. Thanks anyway. God bless you.
