Comparative Study between the Bible versus the Quran (22)
Chapter by Chapter and Verse by Verse;
(Chapter 22:1-10)

The Old Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about God did tempt Abraham and commanded him to take his "ONLY SON" and offer (scarify) him. As a matter of fact, the "ONLY SON" of Abraham was Ishmael not Isaac!
The New Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about when Jesus was speaking by parables giving an example of the kingdom of heaven.
The Noble Quran Verses from 1-10 are talking about the terrible Day of Judgment in which every lactating mother shall forget her suckling babe and every pregnant female shall drop her load (unformed): you shall see mankind as in a drunken and confused riot, yet they are not drunk. Most of people dispute about Allah, without knowledge and follow every evil one who will guide them to the Penalty of the Fire. Then the verses give a glance about the creation of man and the science of embryology for those who have a doubt about the Resurrection. It is Allah who gives life to the dead, and it is He who has power over all things. Verily the Hour will come for certain!

Old Testament:

Chapter 22 in the Old Testament is Genesis 22; it is composed of 24 verses.
Verses from 1-10 are talking about God did tempt Abraham and commanded him to take his "ONLY SON" and offer (scarify) him. As a matter of fact, the "ONLY SON" of Abraham was Ishmael not Isaac!

Genesis 22 (King James Version)

1) And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
2) And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
3) And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.
4) Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
5) And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.
6) And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
7) And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8) And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
9) And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
10) And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.

New Testament

Chapter 22 in the New Testament is Matthew 22; it is composed of 46 verses.
Verses from 1-10 are talking about when Jesus was speaking by parables giving an example of the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 22 (King James Version)

1) And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
2) The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
3) And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
4) Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
5) But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
6) And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
7) But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
8) Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
9) Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10) So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

The Noble Quran:

Chapter 22 in the Noble Quran is composed of 78 verses.
Verses from 1-10 are talking about the terrible Day of Judgment in which every lactating mother shall forget her suckling babe and every pregnant female shall drop her load (unformed): you shall see mankind as in a drunken and confused riot, yet they are not drunk.

[1] O mankind!, have fear of your lord!; guard against (the punishment from) your lord. The earthquake of the hour (of doom, of Judgment) shall be a great tremendous and terrible thing!.
[2] The Day ye shall see it, every mother giving suck shall forget her suckling babe, and every pregnant female shall drop her load (unformed): thou shall see mankind as in a drunken riot, yet not drunk: but dreadful will be the Wrath of Allah.
[3] And yet among men there are such as dispute about Allah, without knowledge, and follow every evil one obstinate in rebellion!
[4] About the (Evil One) it is decreed that whoever turns to him for friendship, him will he lead astray, and he will guide him to the Penalty of the Fire.
[5] O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (Our Power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much). And (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth in pairs.
[6] This is so, because Allah is the Reality: it is He Who gives life to the dead, and it is He Who has power over all things.
[7] And verily the Hour will come: there can be no doubt about it, or about (the fact) that Allah will raise up all who are in the graves.
[8] Yet there is among men such a one as disputes about Allah, without knowledge, without guidance, and without a Book of Enlightenment,
[9] (Disdainfully) bending his side, in order to lead (men) astray from the Path of Allah; for him there is disgrace in this life, and on the Day of Judgment We shall make him taste the Penalty of burning (Fire).
[10] (It will be said): "This is because of the deeds which thy hands sent forth, for verily Allah is not unjust to His servants.

One call, Three weeks...
By: Nes | 17-08-2008
So, my girlfriend and I live together in California and she recently went to Mexico with her parents and brothers for approximately 3 weeks. Throughout the entire time she was there didn't bother to call me or send me an e-mail. The last day she was there she sent me an e-mail basically blaming me for not e-mailing her and how i showed that i didn't miss her. She said this even though she knew that I had no number to contact her and I left her comments on myspace telling her how much i missed her! Well, she is back but i am still doubting the fact that she couldn't go to a calling center and calling me really quick.... Any help?

Does Anything Exist Like Islamic Terrorism?
By: Nawaz | 11/10/2008
Islam has nothing to do with those who commit acts of terrorism. Therefore, it is wise to differentiate Muslims (who are exercising this) and Islam. Just as acts of terrorism committed by Christians cannot be attributed to Christianity (like in bosnia & india), acts of terrorism committed by Muslims must not be attributed to Islam or its teachings.
