(Chapter 47:1-5)

The Old Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about Joseph' brothers were the rulers over Pharaoh's cattle.

The New Testament Verses from 1-10 says that  John the Baptist said to the multitude: O generation of vipers.

The Noble Quran Verses from 1-10 are talking about the battle between Allah host and Satan host, and the outcome of both parties. Those will abide the Paradise and those will abide the Hell forever.

The Noble Quran:

Chapter 47 in the Noble Quran is composed of 85 verses.

Verses from 1-10 are talking about 1) Allah will guide the believers in this world and in the Hereafter to what benefits them, 2) The war in the Way of Allah versus the war in the way of Satan and When the Good Deeds that have been dine in the life of this world have No Rewards in the Afterlife?

Verse one says:

Those who disbelieve in Muhammad and the Quran and turn men from the way of Allah and prevent people from the religion and obedience of Allah;  the reference here is to those who fed the army of the disbelievers to fight and eradicate Islam. This was on the Day of Badr; the first battle between the disbelievers and Muslims.  Allah rendered their actions vain; He thwarts their good deeds and spending on the Day of Badr.

It is also said, Allah will leave the works of the disbelievers to waste, such as giving food to the poor or being kind to kin, and so they will find no reward for these works of theirs in the Hereafter; but they are requited for them in this world purely out of Allah's bounty, exalted be He.

Verse two says that:

And those who believe in Allah and Muhammad and perform righteous deeds, acts of obedience, privately between them and their Lord; and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad, namely, the Quran and it is the truth from their Lord;

Allah ridded them of their ill deeds i.e. He forgave their sins and improved their condition, intention and works in the life of he world; and it is said: He makes their matter manifest in Islam. In other words, Allah will absolve them of, He will forgive them, their misdeeds and rightly dispose their mind, their state, so that they do not disobey Him.

Then in Verse three Allah explained why He thwarts the works of the disbelievers, saying:

That, rendering void of their works and the absolution of evil deeds, is because those who disbelieve in Muhammad and the Quran follow falsehood, Satan, and because those who believe follow the truth, the Quran, from their Lord. Thus, in the same manner of clarification, does Allah strike for mankind similitude of themselves, that is how He clarifies for them their states, in other words, the disbeliever has his work rendered void while the believer is forgiven.  Also, Allah present the similitude of those who came before them: how Allah had destroyed them when they denied the messengers (for mankind) for the community of Muhammad.

In Verse four, Allah then encouraged the believers to fight on the Day of Badr, although the disbelievers were three folds as more as the Muslims, saying:

When you encounter in battle those who disbelieve, then attack them with a striking of the necks, in other words, slay them. Then, when you have made thoroughly decimated them, bind, spare them, take them captive and bind firmly, the bonds. Thereafter either set them free by grace, that is to say, either show them grace by setting them free unconditionally; or by ransom, ransoming them with payment or with Muslim captives, until the war, that is to say, its participants, lay down its burdens, its heavy loads of weaponry and other things, so that either the disbelievers surrender or enter into a treaty. This last clause constitutes the purpose of enjoining the Muslims to slaying and taking captive. So shall it be the ordinance of Allah regarding them is as mentioned. And had Allah willed, He could have Himself taken vengeance on them, without any fighting, but, He has commanded you to do it, that He may test some of you by means of others, from among them, by way of battle, so that the slain among you will end up in Paradise, while those (slain) among them will end up in the Fire. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He will not let their works go to waste, He will not render them void.

This is the difference between the slain in the way of Allah and the slain in the way of Satan; however, if Allah willed He could have punished the disbelievers of Mecca without Muslims having to fight them

Verse five says that Allah will guide the believers in this world and in the Hereafter to what benefits them, and rightly dispose their minds, their condition in both, with that guidance and disposal in this world being for those who were not slain.

In other words, Allah will give them success to perform righteous deeds and improve their state, condition and intention; it is also said that this means: He will save them in the Hereafter and improve their state and accept their works on the Day of Judgment,

The Verses 1-5 (YUSUFALI translation):

Verse one:

Those who reject Allah and hinder (men) from the path of Allah,- their deeds will Allah render astray (from their Luke); Allah rendered their actions vain.

Verse two:

but those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (revelation) sent down to Muhammad - for it is the truth from their lord,- he will remove from them their ills and improve their condition.

Verse three:

This because those who reject Allah follow vanities, while those who believe follow the truth from their lord: thus does Allah set forth for men their lessons by similitudes; and whoever denies faith, his work indeed is of no account, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers. .

Verse four:

Therefore, when ye meet the unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; at length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: until the war lays down its burdens. thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's will, he could certainly have exacted retribution from them (himself); but (he lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. but those who are slain in the way of Allah,- he will never let their deeds be lost.

Verse five:

Soon will he guide them and improve their condition,
