As a spiritual-futurist, I have a BA degree majoring in history. One cannot know the future without knowing the past which holds clues to what is on the horizon. The world is in such a rapid expansion of knowledge that we are close to entering a tipping point that will forever change earth as we know it.
It's interesting to see much of the mainline church still fighting to hold off the TRUTH of science. It's becoming a more difficult challenge because science these days is more about the WHY of things than about the HOW which was once the main staple of all validated scientists. Few are aware that modern science grew out of an effort to free ourselves from religious terrorism!
Ouch!
Quantum Physics has been giving modern-day validation and new age (it won't hurt you!) terms to 2,000+ year old language. Listen, if Jesus were to come back today, He wouldn't speak with an Aramaic philosophy, Greek paradigm, Jewish metaphors, or King James language. Jesus would speak to us in OUR LANGUAGE. So what's our hang up with anything NEW?
Here are six quantum physics concepts that help us interpret six Biblical verses.
1-In SEEING (wave or particle) we are CREATING!
>Rom. 4:17 Call that which is not as though it were.
2-We are all QUANTA (light-photons)
>I Thes. 5:5 You are children of light.
3-Perception alters matter.
>John 4 (Jesus saw the lady at the well different and that changed her).
4-Reality isn't solid, but energy!
>I Cor. 4:18 (Only the invisible is reality)
5-We are change agents of matter through consciousness
>Matt. 6:33 brings about Matt. 6:31
6-Quanta is non local.
>Matt. 6:10 (as above so below and vice versa)
Come on church. Quit kicking against the pricks of the TRUTH. Science and Spirit are ONE! How is it that the people who call themselves Christians are the very people who RESIST new thinking when the one that they are following was the ultimate out of the box subversive thinker.............and doer?
