Finding your purpose in life sometimes can take people a lifetime to figure out. In many ways some people search their entire life wondering what their actual purpose in life is.
However, those who have Faith often come to terms with what their purpose in life is much sooner. As for me, I did a lot of reading to find my purpose in life. Different books and scripture helped me to figure out what my purpose in this life was. No two people are alike though, and finding out what your true purpose is can mean different things to people.
Having a purpose in life makes living in the world today much easier. And finding your purpose in life might at times feel as though it's impossible to do, but in reality it really is simpler than you realize.
Making a list of your talents can in some situations help. I also used different things I have done in my life as another form of figuring out what my purpose in life is.
Having Faith is a bonus really, because we know we have been put here for a reason. Finding out what that reason could be is what we live our lives searching answers for.
Sometimes we find the answers, while in other circumstances the questions remain unanswered. And yet, finding our purpose in life seems to be the very reason that motivates us to do so well in life, because we are ultimately searching for the answer. We know there is an answer; we simply have to diligently search until we have come to the conclusion.
Our physical and mental body might be affected in the world. However, the spiritual side of us, if we search and are willing to look at that part of ourselves, wants to know what the purpose in life is for us. Some people find their purpose in life early on, while for others it takes some time.
Finding the purpose of life can take time and it is something that I have learned can't be rushed. Not if you are really looking for the answer.
Some experts have written books about the subject and there are some authors that have tried to actually tell others what their purpose in life truly is. But I don't feel as though this is an accurate answer. Simply put, no one else can tell you what your purpose in life is, and part of the learning and living experience in life is finding your purpose in life. Without that drive leading you in life, there would be no point to your life. There would be no reason to excel at what you are doing or to improve on what you are good at.
By applying life experiences to what we learn by everyday living I believe everyone eventually has the ability of finding out what their purpose is in life, and doing what they are good at when they do find out.

Why you are a worker?
By: olu mike omoasegun | 08/12/2009As workers in the vineyard of the Lord, we should pause, and ask ourselves this important question: Why am I a worker? Failure to do this has led many to handle the service and work of God with carelessness, non-chalet and carefree attitudes. Many are what they like, the way they like and at the time they like, simply because they don’t know why they are workers. Others are non-committal and ineffective because they have the wrong notion of why they are workers in His vineyard.

Overwhelmed By Numbers
By: Rabbi Simcha Weinberg | 07/12/2009I was overwhelmed with all the posts on Shalom Aleichem that I received in response to my invitation. I spent so much time responding to emails, posting, editing etc. that I barely had time to write anything this week. I was thrilled to receive so many beautiful insights into a song that so many take for granted, but I was also distracted. I am far from the best time-manager. (Busy-itis)
The Tree of Life: A Cure For Bittered Waters
By: Stephen Stillman | 06/12/2009We are familiar with the story of Moses leading the people of Israel out of bondage in Egypt. One of their most critical times during this journey was when they were suffering from an almost intolerable thirst. How their hearts beat with joy when they came to Marah and saw water! Just as quickly as their hearts become joyful, despair came again because the waters were too bitter to drink. All of us sooner or later in life come to Marah where we find bitter waters in the cup of human experience.
