Everyone has the power within to become a psychic. Of course some people have more ability to tune in to this unique talent than others, but psychic ability is inherent in all of us and just like learning any other skill, it requires practice. Nothing of value comes to anyone without some degree of practice and reading another person is no different. Remember, you already have the ability with in, you only need to fine tune it.

Practice

Begin practicing by giving readings to acquaintances and getting feedback on you accuracy. Without feedback you won't know if what you're telling another person is relevant or makes sense. Through feedback a psychic in training can gain knowledge on how to interpret the signs they are getting. The beginner should never fear being wrong. Even the best psychics in the world don't get it right all the time so just remember, no one is 100% accurate all the time.

Meditate

Another very essential element to connecting with your psychic ability is meditation. Meditate at least once a day... even if it is only for a short period of time. It is with meditation that we connect with our inner self or higher being. Whatever questions or concerns you have, your higher being carries all the answers, but the only way to get in touch with this knowledge is through the quiet time you spend with yourself.

Be aware of any images, impressions, visions, or feelings you experience during meditation and, if you do receive an image or get a feeling about something, pursue it. It's surprising how many people are satisfied with just little snippets of information when there is usually so much more to be had. Keep a journal of all your experiences and feelings and soon you will find that much of what you think and feel is actually answers to your questions.

Listen

Listening to your intuition is also an important factor in developing your psychic ability. Pay close attention to what we all know as that gut feeling. How many times have you or someone you know said, "I had a feeling that was going to happen." or "I was just about to say that."? These are all examples of your intuition at work. Listen to that 'little inner voice', as it will seldom be wrong.

Participate

Join a psychic development group and attend as often as you can... You'll be with your peers who are learning just like you and you'll gain a lot of experience in a safe environment where you won't be criticized or feel embarrassed as you to develop your ability.

Remember that your state of mind is your most important asset in developing your psychic ability. You must believe that it is within your grasp and the more you desire to enhance your skills the more likely you will be to tap into your inner and higher being .Becoming a psychic requires patience and practice. If you are dedicated and patient you will succeed.

Ex-husband's Girlfriend Destroying me and my son's life
By: Tess | 22-08-2008
This is all well and good, but my ex's new girlfriend is my grad student -- well she is not my student anymore. My 15 year old is beside himself and this woman who is still a student in my department has consistently found ways to make my work enviroment miserable and to pressure my ex to hassle his son about accepting her -- my son refuses. We have joint custody and he goes to his dad one week and me the next. My son does not want to be with his dad because of the gf. The state I live in does not allow co-habitation with a non-parent while an underage child is in the house and my son has made it clear that he will leave if he brings her around. That said, my ex waits until my son is feeling ok, and I seem to be doing well and starts pressuring my son and trying to make him feel guilty...it is horrible and I often have a confrontation with my ex that sends me into downward spiral -- I get depressed and my daily life falls apart. I just don't know what to do anymore.
