Technology Is A Tool To Reach Your Lord Allah

Science & Technology can become a powerful tool to identify our Creator!

For a moment it feels amazing and question arises that how it can be? But what I found is that it is the most successful way to understand the power and supremacy of the Lone Ruler and Cherisher of this Universe.

The scientific inventions during the period of past two centuries have changed the face of our world to a great extent. I may call the present era as extremely progressive and in fact an eye opener for many who want to take something spiritual out of the experiences we are having these days. Most sadly, we can see that people today are thinking that every thing which they see around is the achievement of human being on the basis of their own mental capabilities, education, approach and thirst to explore more in the field of science and technology. We have seen new dynamics where in the field of Genetics, substantial and laudable achievements have been made which are benefiting and will benefit many in the coming ages. In the field of avionics and space, new boundaries have been reached. We can now understand most efficiently and precisely about the universe and the system which is running the huge empire since many centuries. We have created telescopes and observatories of such a caliber that we can now explore many distant galaxies out in the space. In the field of Medicine, we can now see great achievements in curing the diseases which were haunting people since ages. In short, people can now see extremely luxurious and colorful life all because of greatest achievements of this technologically advanced era.

Enlightening the above facts was necessary to put our thought process to a track which will make us further understand about the topic we are discussing here.

I wish to make people understand that we must accept that a very Powerful Creator is running the whole system and we are also passing through a very delicate and fool proof surveillance system which many of us do not believe and in fact do not want to believe. We are actually giving a very important test and the test period is our lives which may end at any moment, the moment we are totally unaware of.

Taking all the inventions in to account, we must accept that we have taken the basic idea of all the inventions from the nature’s creations already existed and were dancing around us since we opened our eyes into this world.

From birds and their nests or different animals who build their hideouts and homes, we the human beings took the idea of a shelter and developed that for ourselves. What we see the huge and most advanced residences, apartments, villas etc. we are now living in, cannot be made by overnight understanding, the journey began sine centuries over centuries. Similarly, the achievements in Aeronautics is all due to our observation to many flying birds, creatures etc. that fascinated our ancestors who later, after research and hard work gave us the best technology which is benefiting people all over the world. This is an ultimate truth which must be our mental approach to understand the topic that every creation is based on an intelligent observation.

Some technologies have been developed by our own thoughts and we also claim that they are purely the result of our own intellects, fascinating ideas and dreams which made us create or invent things which were beyond the imagination of the people of former ages. To begin with, I would mention telecommunication technology and later enhancement to information technology that can surely be called has remarkable achievement of scientists of our age. We are surely proud on this achievement and would laud those who made the life so simple and fascinating for us. But did we think that the system which is causing this whole world to run isn’t it more advanced than what we have achieved till now????

Here I would say that All Praise to Allah that the Holy Book of Quran can surely be called as the amazing book which discussed the information technology so delicately that no other book did in that age i.e. 1400 years ago.

To validate my claim I am quoting following verses of Quran translated by Respected Mufti Taqi Usmani.

With the name of Allah, the All-Merciful, the Very-Merciful.

[58:7] Have you not observed that Allah knows everything in the heavens and everything in the earth? No secret consultation takes place between three, but He is fourth of them, nor between five, but He is sixth of them, nor between fewer than that or more, but He is with them wherever they may be. Then He will tell them on the Day of Judgment what they did. Surely Allah is All-Knowing about every thing.

Amazingly, it was not at all possible to even to think about something which was claimed in the above verse, considering the perspective of any non believer of Islam in that era or even today, although Muslims believed and believe every word of Quran.

Now we see today that highly agile surveillance systems, voice detectors, voice extractors and many delicate spying equipment which are used widely by many security forces, investigating agencies, armed forces and the list goes on. Going even further, we have now a very well developed satellite systems abundantly used for obtaining classified information including the movement of suspected people with highly advanced cameras able to even penetrate through the clouds. Knowing that such kind of equipment is available today on our disposal why can’t we believe that the Creator and Cherisher of this huge universe can be capable to see through distant skies and that too beyond our imagination.

With the name of Allah, the All-Merciful, the Very-Merciful.

[83:1] Woe to the curtailers [83:2] who, when they measure something to receive from people, take it in full, [83:3] and when they measure or weigh something to give it to them, give less than due. [83:4] Do they not think that they have to be raised up [83:5] on a Great Day, [83:6] the Day when all the people will stand before the Lord of the worlds? [83:7] Never! (i.e. they should never act in such a way.) Indeed the record of deeds of the sinners is in Sijjin . [83:8] And what may let you know what Sijj?n is? [83:9] A register, inscribed! [83:10] Woe that day to the deniers, [83:11] who deny the Day of Requital! [83:12] And none denies it but every sinful transgressor. [83:13] When Our verses are recited to him, he says, (These are) tales of the ancients.[83:14] No! But that which they used to commit has covered their hearts with rust. [83:15] No! Indeed they will be screened off from their Lord on that Day. [83:16] Then they will have to enter the Hell. [83:17] Then it will be said, This is what you used to deny. [83:18] No! The record of deeds of the righteous is in ?Illiyyun. [83:19] And what may let you know what ?Illiyyun is ? [83:20] A register inscribed, [83:21] attended by those (angels) who are blessed with nearness to Allah! [83:22] Indeed the righteous will be in absolute bliss. [83:23] While (sitting) on thrones they will be watching (the scenes of Paradise). [83:24] You will recognize the glamour of bliss on their faces. [83:25] They will be served with a pure sealed wine to drink, [83:26] the seal of which will be of musk. It is this (bliss) in aspiring for which the competitors should race each other. [83:27] __and it will be blended with (a drink from) Tasnim, [83:28] a spring from which will drink those who are blessed with nearness. [83:29] Indeed those who were guilty used to laugh at those who believed, [83:30] and when they passed by them, they used to wink at one another, [83:31] and when they went back to their family, they went enjoying their mockery, [83:32] and when they saw them, they said, Surely these are the ones who have gone astray [83:33] while they were not sent as watchmen over them. [83:34] So, today those who believed will laugh at the disbelievers. [83:35] While (sitting) on thrones, they will be seeing [83:36] whether the disbelievers have been paid back for what they used to do.

These are very noble verses from the Holy Quran encompassing the thoughts developed by many people that they are not watched. How can it be possible that we are not watched? We are definitely being watched, not as a passing look, but our each and every action and each and every second of our lives. The verses also disclose that our deeds are properly recorded which will be shown to us or given to us on the Day of Judgment.

Understanding the above verse in view of technological advancement we experience today, nothing mentioned in there in looks impossible. Today we have a strong system to gather database of every person’s action on the basis of National Identification Number or Social Security Number. We have strong and reliable system of finger prints recording and analysis that is usually used during forensic investigation. Now it has become extremely compulsory to maintain, in almost every country of the world, finger prints record to identify the suspects in many criminal cases. In short, on the basis of key information i.e. Identification Number and Finger Prints, one can obtain the complete data including the historic criminal record of certain individual in a blink of an eye. Moreover we have seen that security cameras are in installed commonly in banks, shopping centers, Parks and many sensitive buildings and places to ensure agile security surveillance. The question arises, do we still think that we are not watched by our Lord? He has such a great system of watching, recording and maintaining record, well in place since many centuries or we can say that since the time we can hardly evaluate or imagine about.

[75:1] I swear by the Day of Resurrection, [75:2] and I swear by the self-reproaching conscience, (that Resurrection is a reality.) [75:3] Does man think that We will never reassemble his bones? [75:4] Why (can We) not (do so), while We are able to reset (even) his fingertips perfectly? [75:5] But man wishes to go on violating Allah‘s injunctions (even in future) ahead of him. [75:6] He asks, When will be this Day of Resurrection? [75:7] So, when the eyes will be dazzled, [75:8] and the moon will lose its light, [75:9] and the sun and the moon will be joined together, [75:10] on that day man will say, Where to escape? [75:11] Never! There will be no refuge at all. [75:12] On that day, towards your Lord will be the destination (of everyone.) [75:13] Man will be informed of what he sent ahead and what he left behind. [75:14] Rather, man will be a witness against himself, [75:15] even though he may offer his excuses.

We are also familiar with the Mobile SIM (Subscriber Identification Module) or Memory Chip which we use with our Cellular handsets, termed today as a revolutionary technology. This technology is also used to track stolen vehicles or even track the movement of suspected individuals. Many of us use Post-paid connections of different cellular phone service providers and get the bill at the end of the month clearly mentioning the list of each and every call made with the date, time and duration perfectly mentioned. Let us suppose that we have somewhere in our body similar type of device or any part of the body is acting as same as a SIM chip. We can only understand the logic according to our mental limitation, but we can well believe that our Lord may have some highly advanced system or capability which is beyond our imagination. His claim cannot be ignored that he is watching us, listening to us, observing every move of ours, keeping up to date and detailed record, which will be handed over to us on the Judgment Day.

[13:14] True prayers are to be directed to Him alone; and those to whom they pray instead of Him do not respond to them at all, but they are like one who stretches his hands towards water so that it may reach his mouth (by itself), while it is not to reach it. And the prayer of the disbelievers (that they make to false gods) is nothing but straying in void.

This is also a very important verse which clearly declares that every prayer reaches Allah (SWT). Some centuries back it was quite impossible to understand that how is it possible that one entity can reply several million people if praying at a time and all have different requests and needs which they are including in their prayers (Dua as Muslims normally say).  To understand this claim of our Lord, it looks now that nothing is so impossible during the present era of Information Technology. Many people are now linked up to the Internet and millions of people are using different search engines and sometimes using one website at time. We can experience that once we want to know something about Mountains we type “Mountain” in the Search window and instantly we get the result showing thousands of relevant websites. Just understand that many websites have their servers placed at extremely distant location from the user who might be sitting thousands of miles away but still the user can access that server and obtains knowledge of his interest at any moment with a blink of an eye.

Understanding the above wonders of Internet, we could also be able to understand that how easy it would be for our Lord to listen and process our prayers. His capability to listen and reply to our prayers is not a new claim but was made in all divine revelations and confirmed in Quran very strongly.

The discussion here is not meant to speculate about the kind of system used by our Lord, but it is stressed here that we cannot underestimate any claim by our Lord that He is watching, listening, observing and taking notice of each and every good and bad deed of ours and it is so easy for Him to do all this at once time. We can well understand his capabilities in the light of our own achievements which were impossible if he had decided not to allow us access to that knowledge.

[17:49] And they say, Once we are reduced to bones and dust, is it then that we will be raised, created anew? [17:50] Say, Be you stones or iron [17:51] or any creation you deem harder in your hearts. Thereupon they will ask, Who will bring us back?  Say, The One who created you for the first time. So, they will shake their heads before you and say, When shall that be?  Say, May be, it is near. [17:52] (It will be) on a day when He will call you, and you will respond praising Him, and you will think you did not stay (on the earth) but for a short while.

We have many verses in the Holy Quran especially about the Day of Judgment when people would be raised again. This claim also looked beyond understanding to many non believers but the present age shows us that it is quite possible to create any thing again to the precision to its original position. I am using another example which can be understood surely by all the people who are computer friendly.

When we type and save a long program we at some moment want to delete the same instantly. But when we want to recover the same we can go to Recycle Bin and recover it again completely in the last saved form. What if the information of final moment of our lives is saved and preserved and at the time of judgment day that may be used to recover us all again in our original form? No body can speculate about the kind of system in place with Allah. But by enhancing our understanding, our belief gets stronger when we find that all claims made by Allah in a Book which was transferred to hearts of Millions of Muslims, carry information relevant to every age and every era. Our Lord Allah is great and all the Muslims should believe on each and every verse of the Holy Book which is our identity and a true guiding light for every human and jinn living on this earth. We should strongly believe in Quran and Sunnah of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

As conclusive statement to my writing this article, I would pray to my Allah that he may increase and multiply my belief on his presence, his powers, his capabilities and all the people of this world may be able to believe that their only true Lord is Allah SWT.
