The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ is more scripture brought forth in our day, The Book of Mormon came into being after it was translated from gold plates which contained a record of the people of the Americas, by the Prophet Joseph Smith after the Angel Moroni appeared to him telling him were the gold plates were buried and when he should translate it, Joseph Smith was called of God to restore the same Church that had become exctinct in New Testament times, the Church was to be known as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints today it has over 13 million members and is growing by the day, The Book of Mormon dates from about 600 years B.C. to about A.D. 421 , covering a time of over 1,000 years. The book contains writings of the prophets of the Lord, and stories of God's dealings with the peoples of the Americas, it is a volume of holy scripture comparable to the Bible. It is particularly useful because it contains the fullness of the everlasting gospel, one of the most exciting parts of this book is when Jesus Christ appears to the inhabitants of the Americas after His resurrection. The Book of Mormon outlines the plan of salvation. Joseph Smith siad the following about the Book of Mormon, "I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book." The Lord provided for 11 others to see the gold plates, to be special witnesses of the truth and divinity of The Book of Mormon, their testimonies can be found at the beginning of the Book of Mormon. To get a full witness of the Book of Mormon, it should be read and prayed about, but there's definitely some interesting things in it.
