The second miracle that Hume discussed was the story of Moses and the burning bush. The story says about one event, when Moses was working in the fields and saw the angel of God who appeared before him in the fire of the bush. The most amazing thing was that the bush was full of fire but was not obsessive. Moses came closer to that bush and then heard the voice; it was the voice of God, telling Moses about his mission. The mission was to help the Israelites go out from Egypt and save them from the rude power of the Egyptians. Moses did as it was said. Moses still did not believe that he was chosen, but he organized the journey to Egypt, while God was watching him and showed him the way. It was very long journey, which lasted for forty years.
On the way to the Promised Land, Moses with the Egyptians came to the Red Sea. They faced the problem of how to cross it, as they did not have any boat. As the Bible explains the miracle took place at the Red Sea. As the Egyptians were coming to the sea closer and closer, it shut its gates and they went under the water.
To justify whether it was miracle or not, Hume is interested on people’s opinion, if it is really the miracle, but still he would have lots of time to confirm it. Again, there is the fact that no one can witness this event. One can regard it as the truthful experience because of the belief in God and the faith in the doctrine of Bible. It is not a miracle, but something that we are taught to believe by means of the religion and house of worship. It depends upon the person, whether to believe or not, as it is only individual’s perception of reality.

By: Prof.dr. Ibrahim Khalil | 24/12/2009They have broken faith by marrying foreign women; they had to make a covenant before the Lord God and to send away their foreign wives and their children. Also, they have to offer rams until the fierce anger of the Lord God in this matter is turned away. In the whole Quran, the expression "foreign woman" is not mentioned therein; all women are equal in their rights regardless of race, color, location etc.
