Leonardo Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man (the Da Vinci Man with four arms and four legs in a square and circle) is the most popular secular symbol in the world. My 10 years of research suggests that the Vitruvian Man is a universal symbol for greater love, relationships, success, health and the new age 21st century paradigm of indivisible wholeness, the paradigm for world peace. A New Renaissance!
The Da Vinci Man is a universal translator between scientific models (represented by the Da Vinci Man in the square) and religious symbols (represented by the Da Vinci Man in the circle). Therefore, the Vitruvian Man (Da Vinci Man) is a bridge between science and religion. There are amazing similarities between the sacred geometry of the Da Vinci Man, Yin-Yang, Star of David, Tree of Life, Christian Cross, Angels and Kabbalah.
Da Vinci devoted over 20 years of his life to the squaring of the circle, represented by the Vitruvian Man, his figure with four arms and four legs. Many believe it was Da Vinci's greatest passion and he himself believed it would transform humanity.
Author Kenneth Clark says we should not underestimate the importance of the Vitruvian Man and its enormous effect upon the Renaissance. The two cojoined forms of the Da Vinci Person represent the balance between materiality and spirituality. The Da Vinci man in the circle represents spirituality. The Da Vinci Man in the square represents materiality.
Da Vinci believed that the proportions of the human body were magical and the Da Vinci Man represented man (the microcosm) created in the image of God (the macrocosm).
Leonardo said it best: "The outstretched arms and legs of a man form a square and a circle: the square symbolizes the solid physical world and the circle the spiritual and eternal. Man bridges the gap between these two worlds." -Leonardo Da Vinci, "The Magical Proportions of Man"
I began researching for "The Da Vinci Man Code, Leonardo's Real Secret Code" in April 1994. I noticed amazing similarities between scientific models (represented by the Da Vinci Man in the square) and religious symbols and art (represented by the Da Vinci Man in the circle). As Leonardo intended, the Vitruvian Man is a bridge between science and spirituality.
The Da Vinci Man is a model for the wholeness and success every person is seeking in order to achieve balance, inner peace, happiness and enlightenment. The two cojoined figures of the Da Vinci Man, creating a person with four arms and four legs, represent the union of man with the Divine, the integration of body and soul, heart and mind, compassion with clarity, work with love, union of masculine and feminine. The Da Vinci Man is the universal symbol for love, relationships and health. It is the logo of choice for chiropractors and other health practitioners.
As the consummate artist and scientist of his time, Leonardo Da Vinci embodied the indivisible wholeness represented by the Vitruvian Man. The two unified Da Vinci forms in the square and circle represent the Sacred Geometry of Wholeness.
The current scientific paradigm focuses on our separation from nature, emphasizing our material (Da Vinci Man in the square) rather than our angelic nature (Da Vinci Man in the circle). The two cojoined Da Vinci forms indicate that we are human angels and resemble a person with angel wings.
Our current scientific paradigm causes us to feel lonely and separate from each other. However, this is counterintuitive to our own spiritual experiences. The two cojoined forms of the Da Vinci Man, with similarities to the Yin-Yang, Star of David and Christian Cross, teach us the value of wholeness and inform us how we can achieve greater love, wealth, health and spiritual growth in our lives.
As a child, one of my greatest experiences was to visit the Science and Industry Museum in Chicago and view the Electromagnetic Spectrum Exhibit. This demonstrated, to me, the unity and wholeness of creation.
I knew this would be my life's purpose: to help others understand that, despite all appearances on the surface, everything and everyone is essentially one and united. We are not separate from our environment and each other. Everything exists in one wholeness. We are one human family.

Why you are a worker?
By: olu mike omoasegun | 08/12/2009As workers in the vineyard of the Lord, we should pause, and ask ourselves this important question: Why am I a worker? Failure to do this has led many to handle the service and work of God with carelessness, non-chalet and carefree attitudes. Many are what they like, the way they like and at the time they like, simply because they don’t know why they are workers. Others are non-committal and ineffective because they have the wrong notion of why they are workers in His vineyard.

Overwhelmed By Numbers
By: Rabbi Simcha Weinberg | 07/12/2009I was overwhelmed with all the posts on Shalom Aleichem that I received in response to my invitation. I spent so much time responding to emails, posting, editing etc. that I barely had time to write anything this week. I was thrilled to receive so many beautiful insights into a song that so many take for granted, but I was also distracted. I am far from the best time-manager. (Busy-itis)
The Tree of Life: A Cure For Bittered Waters
By: Stephen Stillman | 06/12/2009We are familiar with the story of Moses leading the people of Israel out of bondage in Egypt. One of their most critical times during this journey was when they were suffering from an almost intolerable thirst. How their hearts beat with joy when they came to Marah and saw water! Just as quickly as their hearts become joyful, despair came again because the waters were too bitter to drink. All of us sooner or later in life come to Marah where we find bitter waters in the cup of human experience.
