The Revelation Revelation

Now here we have the problem. What was it? I know it was interesting. I know it was a God type moment. I'm even sure the Holy Spirit was right there with me. I'm sure if I could remember the scripture I was reading I would be able to tell you the revelation but due to the lack of memory, probably due to my ever but slowly increasing age I have forgotten it.

I wonder how many revelations have been lost. I wonder what would have happened if Dakes had never put down a single note. What if Martin-Lloyd Jones never put pen to paper? What if Willmington never wrote a word. Let's take it a little further. What if Paul didn't put pen to parchment or Timothy never told a soul?

Revelation is meant to be shared. It is divine inspiration from God and is rarely meant for just you and me. So how should we do it?

The plan for sharing

Firstly, always have some form of recording medium where you get the revelations. If it's in the toilet then keep a pen handy. There's plenty of paper there. If it's in bed at 3am then keep a pad and pencil handy. If it's driving, have a small recorder nearby at all times. My wife has often scribbled or done diagrams on serviettes to communicate or remember principles she thinks of over a coffee.

The steps.

I guess we have to start somewhere. I have been tossing this around in my head for some time and procrastination has been an enemy. We need direction and a strategy. For me its a strategy that is still forming as I go. I suspect it involves the following.

  1. An increase in prayer both alone and with others of similar ilk. (My wife will clap, praise and almost scream at this one as so far our combined prayer life has been restricted to say the least. (I know it's a male thing but that doesn't make it acceptable!)

  2. A greater amount of “word” time. I suspect this has to be with others of similar heart and not just reading alone but also talking, discussing and coming to a consensus around a table, over a cuppa, face to face and heart to heart.

  3. Taking time to meditate and write for your own benefit. Then ...

  4. Passing revelation and experience on to others. Sharing it around at places such as Inherentchurch.com.

This plan is probably not perfect but a start has to be made. I need a change! It cannot be a formula but likewise doing nothing will leave us where we are today. Will you join me? Will you make an effort? Are you ready to take the Inherent Church to the place it was in Acts? Walking, talking Jesus breathing, full on for God, Inherent Christians. People with an inbuilt, inseparable love of Christ that they are desperate to share Him with others. Now that really sounds like fun.

By: Larry Simon | 21/12/2009
Every other religion doesn't know the father, they may know God as Pharaoh, they may know God as a taskmaster, they might be working out thru works, but they just have no idea the father. SID : You were just watching Faisal Malick, Faisal was raised as a Sunni Muslim, he examined the Koran three or 4 hours every day, but he heard the audible voice of Almighty God and a veil as he says, came off his eyes, but he had plenty of pressure from his mother and father who did not unders...

The unique yet beautiful rites associated with Hinduism are the gift from the different ethnic groups of people from India to the world, who had been following these rituals since centuries. Interaction between the members of different ethnicities resulted in creation of "Vedism" which believes in worshipping the trinity of Rain, Sun and Fire Gods.

SID : hi. Sid Roth here still trying to do a talk with Kathie Walters. You'd think it is so simple. You come here and do it. But let me know about this. I am so fascinated with this angel change that took resonance in your place for 3 and a half weeks. Tell me about it. One Sun. And it's a good lesson here, because while I was watching the movie, out of the corner of my eye I saw a light. Well hello, most people have witnessed the Light. But I turned to see what the light was...

The Parable of The Ten Bridesmaids - Explained - Part 1

By: Charles Crosby | 19/12/2009
This parable is probably one of the most misunderstood parables the Lord Jesus Christ ever uttered, for I have heard all manner of nonsensical explanations of it. Needless to say none of these explanations points the finger at the right people so read on to find out who The Lord was aiming this parable at.

The Revelation Revelation

By: Kenn Bacon | 20/08/2008 | Religion
The other day I was studying my Bible as I do when I got a revelation. It wasn't earth shattering. It wasn't mind blowing, but it was important to me. I thought it was important enough to share and would have been interesting to someone else. If I had still been a pastor of a church I probably would have thought it was this Sunday's sermon and I would have sat down and prepared my sermon notes. So what was it?
