The Seal of Middle East Peace Talks in Annapolis

When you receive the Seal you have the peace of God. That means you come to have peace with other people since you have peace on the inside first. You may have disagreements with people but you always have your inner peace.

Disagreements with people are sometimes as necessary as peace is. When you are sealed you do not necessarily make peace with everyone in the world. You can not always live in peace with evil people.

Some people have the mark of the beast in their forehead. You do not need to "agree" with these people. You are different from them. When you are sealed you have the Name of God written in your forehead.

But when you are sealed you have the peace of God. That means you no longer need to fight with the evil people. You no longer need to strive with someone who has the mark of the beast or any other evil person.

You fight evil on the inside. You struggle within every day. You fight the devil and you fight your own natural person--the two formidable foes. You usually do not need to fight with people.

Sometimes the devil is represented in a person. And sometimes you have to fight people to protect yourself and other innocent people. You can still have the peace of God within you while you fight on the outside.

And the world will not always recognize your peace of God. It may not be honored. It may not even be understood or perceived. The glory within you may remain a complete mystery to everyone else.

But the peace of God is a secret God will reveal to you when you become sealed. And you will be able to make peace with people in the world you do not agree with. Even evil people.

Just like you will be able to enjoy peace with people so nations can coexist at peace with one another. Some nations have the peace of God. Some do not. And some times are times when both of these kinds of countries are at war.

A time of peace has been barely achieved lately in the Middle East. Israel has been involved in war during the last few years. War with Lebanon. And continuing conflict with Palestine. Trouble with Syria.

The Arab nations of the Middle East are trying out peace for a change. There is a conference being planned for Annapolis Maryland. It is a conference for peace in the Middle East. Israel will be there. And most of the Arab League.

Syria is still not sure whether to show up, even though the Arab League has decided to go and Syria is part of it. But all the arab nations agree on one thing--Israel must be ready to make some concessions.

If Israel does not make some concessions the peace process will not move forward. And Israel is willing to make concessions but has not yet committed to a timetable for them.

Of particular concern is the Golan Heights, a territory Israel captured in the 1967 war. Israel never returned the territory to Syria who held it only briefly after the second world war.

It is a strategic area and part of the Jordan watershed which supplies most of Israel's water. But Israel has showed some willingness to concede the territory so the Arab nations have reluctantly agreed to appear at the peace conference.

This is a step in the right direction for the Middle East. The Arab nations can help the Palestinians negotiate with Israel. And Israel can win for herself the reassurance that her neighbors are not ready to attack her at every moment.

Just like the nations of the Middle East when you are sealed you can take steps toward making peace with people, just like you can fight and win victories. There is a time for fighting and a time for making peace.

But when you are sealed you will come to have the peace of God. The time is always right to have the peace of God. Jesus gives you this peace and it lives within you when you receive the Seal.
