This is Allah (58) When Talking About Allah it is Compulsory to Say Nothing But the Truth, Moses Said

Many people do not know Allah. This series (1-58) is an attempt to help them to know their Creator.

Verses 7:104-108 of the Noble Quran talk about: 1) Moses said: when talking about Allah it is compulsory to say nothing but the truth, 2) Moses said: O Pharaoh! I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds to you, 3) Pharaoh denied Moses and said unto him: You are lying, 4) Moses threw his rod, and it was a huge manifest snake and 5) Moses drew forth his hand, and it was white, radiant and shining for the beholders

The meaning of verse 7:104

Moses said: O Pharaoh! Lo! I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds to you,

but Pharaoh denied him and said: You are lying!

The meaning of verse 7:105

Moses said: I am, one for whom it is right, when talking in relation to Allah it is compulsory to say nothing but the truth. Truly I have come to you with a clear proof from your Lord. So send forth with me the Children of Israel.

In other words, Moses said: (Approved upon condition) it is more befitting for me (that I speak concerning Allah nothing but the Truth; I come unto you with a clear proof from your Lord. So let the Children of Israel along with their properties go with me.

N.B.: Pharaoh had enslaved the Children of Israel.

The meaning of verse 7:106

Pharaoh Said to Moses: If you have come with a token, with a sign, as you claim, then produce it, if you are of those who speak the truth and if you are indeed a messenger.

The meaning of verse 7:107

Then Moses cast down, he flung down his staff (the first token) and lo! it was a serpent, manifest for all to see, it was an enormous snake, a huge one.

The meaning of verse 7:108

And he drew forth his hand, he took it out from his bosom (armpit), and lo! it was white, radiant and shining for the beholders who looked at it, and obviously quite different than its usual skin color.

QARIB: moses said: 'pharaoh, i am a messenger from the lord of the worlds,

SHAKIR: and musa said: o firon! surely i am a messenger from the lord of the worlds:

PICKTHAL: moses said: o pharaoh! lo! i am a messenger from the lord of the worlds,

YUSUFALI: moses said: "o pharaoh! i am a messenger from the lord of the worlds,-

Verse 7:105

QARIB: incumbent upon me is that i say nothing of Allah except the truth. i bring you a clear proof from your lord. so let the children of israel depart with me. '

SHAKIR: (i am) worthy of not saying anything about Allah except the truth: i have come to you indeed with clear proof from your lord, therefore send with me the children of israel

PICKTHAL: approved upon condition that i speak concerning Allah nothing but the truth. i come unto you (lords of egypt) with a clear proof from your lord. so let the children of israel go with me.

YUSUFALI: one for whom it is right to say nothing but truth about Allah. now have i come unto you (people), from your lord, with a clear (sign): so let the children of israel depart along with me."

Verse 7:106

QARIB: he answered: 'if you have come with a sign, show it to us if you are of the truthful. '

SHAKIR: he said: if you have come with a sign, then bring it, if you are of the truthful ones

PICKTHAL: (pharaoh) said: if thou comest with a token, then produce it, if thou art of those who speak the truth.

YUSUFALI: (pharaoh) said: "if indeed thou hast come with a sign, show it forth,- if thou tellest the truth."

Verse 7:107

QARIB: he threw down his staff, and it was clearly a serpent.

SHAKIR: so he threw his rod, then lo! it was a clear serpent

PICKTHAL: then he flung down his staff and lo! it was a serpent manifest;

YUSUFALI: then (moses) threw his rod, and behold! it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)!

Verse 7:108

QARIB: then he drew out his hand and it was luminous to the onlookers.

SHAKIR: and he drew forth his hand, and lo! it was white to the beholders

PICKTHAL: and he drew forth his hand (from his bosom), and lo! it was white for the beholders.

YUSUFALI: and he drew out his hand, and behold! it was white to all beholders!
