Thomas Aquinas was one of the theologists who created three ways to prove the existence of God. The first fraction of the dispute is based on the idea of motion. It begins with the assertion that it is obvious to our mind and certain that some things in the world are in state of motion. That motion leads the object from being able to go somewhere to getting there. Then, nothing is possible to reduce from potentiality to authenticity, except the fact that something is already authentic. As a result, the same thing can not be in the potentiality and in the authenticity at the same time. Hence it is impossible for the thing to be moved and to be mover at the same time that is it should be in motion itself. Thus, it is necessary to reach your destination at the first mover, and it everybody realizes to be God.
The second feature of the cosmological dispute of the existence of God begins with the realizing of the efficient cause. Aristotle gives the explanation of the efficient cause as the occurrence that brings something about. But if in the efficient cause it is impossible to go on to perpetuity, as in this case there will be no first efficient cause, there will be neither definitive effect nor the middle efficient cause; all of which is false. As the result it is important to disclose the first efficient cause, which is named God.
As for the third aspect of the cosmological dispute, it concerns the possibility and necessity. People try to find in nature something that is possible or impossible, when they are found to be generated and to be tainted, it is impossible for them to exist or not to exist. Not everything is possible to exist, but still there must be something, which existence gives the rise to others. It brings to the conclusion that one can not refuse the existence of some necessity, as it causes the necessity of the other.
