It is important to realize that will power is used to suppress and fight against blocks like laziness, fear and procrastination.
Have you heard the statement "What you resist persists"?
This is the reason will power fades away, after a few days, weeks or months. You are using will power to mask underlying negative patterns of behavior or emotions. The more you suppress the negative the stronger it gets.
Example: Suppose you have a goal to lose weight. You recognize that laziness is a behavior pattern that is not serving you. Instead of healing the laziness, you use will power to go the gym. You succeed for a few days and then give up. The solution is to use Emotional Freedom Techniques or any other clearing technique on the negative emotions and behaviors and shift your energy.
When the negative emotions are healed, you work towards abundance naturally and you do not have to use force, as you have a more empowering option, passion!
My client Ramesh was visualizing his new job, a few times everyday but there was no progress.
I asked him to complete the sentence "I want to attract the new job because ...."
His answers were
* I am frustrated and I want this new job desperately
* I fear failure but I am determined to find the job and prove myself to everyone
I told him that he was operating more from will power, anxiety, fear and frustration. When do we need will power? When we have something opposing us right?
The process of creation is joyful and divine. None of the reasons in his list indicated joy. You may be really good at visualizing but unless you heal fear and negative emotions and add joy and gratitude to it, it is a mechanical process. The will power will sustain for a while but eventually the negative emotions and behaviors will surface and make you feel weak again.
If you feel stuck with any goal, watch your emotions.
Are you operating with love, gratitude and passion or are you vibrating with fear and anxiety masked as will power and determination? Find out if you are blocking abundance. Apply EFT to all your blocks and allow the abundance to flow into your life.
When you have empowered yourself, passion for abundance becomes natural. This passion will drive you, guide you and will help you in creating an abundant life.
An energetic shift from within will result in dramatic changes in your life.
