The next row of shingles should be placed over this row and a straight line should be drawn with chalk. Each row should be over the earlier one. After reaching the top of the roof, building paper should be placed and then shingles installed. The edges of each shingle should be trimmed when it has to conform to the peak of the roof. If the installation is done in a proper manner, then there will be air circulation.
