Taking a Culinary Ride Through Orlando

Orlando is the “promised land” if you are a foodie!  Whether you are looking for fine dining or just a delicious morsel on the run, there is an Orlando restaurant that is right for you.  Orlando dining offers a tantalizing array of foods from every country and for every wallet.  But where do you start when your tummy is rumbling?  There are many tourist guides for those looking for features food Orlando restaurant dining.  But, we can tell you where to find the favorites of both tourists and locals.

If you are hungry for ethnic cuisines in Orlando, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Orlando is where you want to be.  Every year in the fall, the Epcot theme park is transformed into a food and wine lover’s paradise.  Visitors enjoy specialty food items, culinary events, sophisticated parties and live musical entertainment.

Stroll along World Showcase promenade as special food booths are set up to tempt you with delicious cuisine from around the world.  You will also enjoy the specialty marketpalces filled with regional foods, wines and beers.  Best of all, the chef in you will enjoy learning from the best.  Renowned chefs and winemakers offer special programs and demonstrations to share their recipes and secrets.

The Locals’ Favorites

Not far from Orlando is beautiful and renowned Daytona Beach. Daytona has it all when it comes to dining - from fine restaurants to fast food chains.  Of course, locals will tell you that if you want a little down home southern soul food, the concessions at the Daytona 500 can’t be beat.

With that in mind, don’t be shy; give a few locally owned restaurants a try.  Here are a couple that the locals enjoy, and wish the snowbirds didn’t know about!
