Improve Communication skill; to Bag the Job of your Dreams

Imagine a world without language; everything will appear tasteless and monotonous. To perk up your daily existence you require healthy communication. Language acts as a bridge though there are many barriers to verbal communication but you have to overcome all the barriers to become an effective communicator.

Communication is a part of our survival, we communicate to put our thoughts across to people, to express and to get feedback from them. In today’s day and age good linguistic or communication skills are the need of the hour; you should constantly strive to improve upon them; excellent even good communication skills keep you in good stead vis-à-vis people who have qualification but no communication skills.

Dilution of language is happening since the incorporation of words from other languages has become the latest trend; youngster have given rise to new terminology that is neither Hindi nor English but the combination of two colloquially called as “Hinglish”.

Swearing in language has made the language crass and makes it lose out on its essence. Language should be respected for what it is; you should not use short forms or abbreviations to express your thoughts on a piece of paper. Good linguistic skills or the communication skills whether written or verbal give you an edge.

Most of the letters and Emails have been framed in the international language like English, for that good knowledge of the language and grammar is essential, incase, you give less importance to the language and more importance to other skills that is also not good on your part rather try to maintain a balance between the two.

The Indian Job Market gives due emphasis to both the qualification as well as communication skills; they are called as soft skills, to fetch a job no longer requires your qualification but a blend of both qualification and soft skills.

For the prospective jobseeker, improving communication skills is essential for getting a coveted job opportunity, jobseekers require good knowledge of the right keywords and the knowledge of the right keywords is the by-product of good communication and intellectual skills.

For improving linguistic skills, the jobseekers are required to read as much as possible along with constant improvement in grammar and they can also improve upon their communication or linguistic skills by getting information from new media like web, pod cast and many other sources.
