If you're serious about finding another job, then you have to pay attention to your resume. Is it working for you . . . or is it shooting you in the foot!

We've come to expect a lot from a resume. Yet, in reality it plays only a peripheral role in your job search. Think of it more as a business card that introduces you to an employer.

In fact, no one is going to hire you on the basis of it. An employer has to get to know you before making a decision. So, how does your resume stack up? It's easy to find out. Get out a piece of paper and take this test. Just answer "yes" or "no". It will show you whether your resume passes muster in today's sophisticated job marketplace.
