1999 Volkswagen Euro van has 2.8 liters 6 V front transverse engine with 81 mm bore, 95 mm stroke, 10 compression ratio, cast iron block, light alloy head, double overhead cam and two valves per cylinder. It has Multi-point injection fuel system with 80 liter fuel tank. 1999 Euro van model has four disc brakes including two ventilated discs. It has wishbone front suspension with stabilizer bar independent with coil springs, trailing arm rear suspension independent with torsion springs. Some of the exterior features of this van are it has fixed rear window with windshield wipers. It is tinted glass on cabin, rear and on the side. The exterior part of the van has day time running lights, front and rear body color bumpers etc.

Euro van is available in three types of models: CL, GL and GLS on which seven people can sit comfortably. Euro van MV Weekender has a pop top roof and a bed above the passenger seat. The other features include a refrigerator, a rear hatch, a utility battery and bug screens for the side windows. Euro van camper also has a pop top roof. Two people can sleep and four persons can sit comfortably. The size of the refrigerator is one cubic foot and it runs on propane. There is a propane furnace and a closet for keeping the belongings. There is also a sink with cold water and a gray water tank. There are two dining tables for eating and the two bucket seats in front can be swiveled to turn back and face the kitchen or the dining area. There are also lights and coach battery. Volkswagen Euro van has turbo charged direct injection diesel engine.
